UPDATE: I’ve only had for a couple months now and just as others have said, the rug definitely gets fuzzy after moderate use. And by moderate I mean just walking across it. It’s not a shedding type of fuzz (I’m not experiencing any shed at all) but more unraveling of the weave that leaves a whole fuzzy appearing layer. It’s not unbearable but depending on lighting, it is noticeable (see last pic). I had subsequently purchased a second one for my preschooler’s bedroom. We’ve had that one about a month and it’s surprisingly holding up (I guess because he’s mostly at school or in my room). So I updated my rating from 5 stars to 3.Original: 5 rugs later and we have a winner! I had been looking for a high quality rug that was soft in color and and this rug was perfect! My walls are greige and I was looking for a nice creamy compliment. The color is a lovely oatmeal with the most perfect imperfectly incorporated streaks of both gray and tan. I only received it last night but upon opening, I noticed no shedding when running my hands over it. Super soft and comfy to walk on. The photos attached are taken around dawn so this is what it looks like under interior lights. Can’t wait to see what it looks like in the natural sunlight. Will be ordering a few more of these for my home. If you are looking for high quality, neutral tone rug without breaking bank, this is your rug!

I thought this rug was a great value. The quality was excellent. I put it under a dresser in our closet and it looks great. Came rolled nicely and laid flat with no problem.

A premium quality carpet for a very nice price. Replaced an older area carpet for this one and love the difference made to the room. It is the perfect color and size. Super soft, great thickness, and laid perfectly flat, soon after unrolling the carpet the first time. Would highly recommend this SAFAVIEH Abstract Collection carpet.

Update- Have had the rug for just over four months and would now rate a 3 out of 5 stars. Like other reviews have stated there is a top layer of fuzz that never seems to go away. With that it tends to grab dirt and debris so the beater bar has to be used to get stuff off the rug. Problem with that is the beater bar makes the fuzziness worse. I would not buy again if given the choice. I’ve added a few more pics to try to show the fuzziness. One is of my beater bar after vacuuming the rug. Another is of the rug itself. Original review: Really pleased with the rug. I bought the light grey color. To me the main color is an ivory/off white and then it has grey and tan threads through it to create the pattern. I took pictures in natural light and with my entryway light on to show how it looks in different lighting. It is very soft and nice to walk on. I haven’t had it very long so have only vacuumed twice. I used my dyson stick vac with the beater running and haven’t had any issues with it becoming fuzzy like others have reviewed. But, like I said I’ve only had it a week.

Buy it! The quality and thickness of this rug is great.

I bought it to cover up brand new flooring that I had installed that was horrific so now I can walk in that room without having a heavy heart over a terrible flooring choice. It's soft and perfect I got the biggest size I could so it was heavy. Very happy with my purchase.

It’s pretty, but it doesn’t spot clean at all… anytime I try and spot clean the rug, it just pulls up the fabric/wool and ruins the carpet… don’t buy this if you have kids… it shows all the stains and doesn’t clean….

The 8 x 10 Camel/black I purchased is very soft. However, it smells awful. I am hoping this will go away soon! As I have pets, I was looking for a rug that had a tight weave (which it does have) and was all wool or a mix of wool and Viscose for cleaning purposes as well as to avoid the shedding that normally comes with 100% wool rugs. The product description says 100% wool in one part and wool and viscose in another. Very confusing! The rug is actually only 20% wool/40% viscose/40% polyester. Total bummer. It does not actually measure 8 x 10. It is 7.7 x 10. Living in a very small home it is crucial to have the exact measurements for anything. I have lay out constraints, so the missing inches are dearly missed as this rug does not fit exactly as expected and effects the function of the room. I will probably try this one in another room and order something different for the room I planned to have it in because returning this thing would be a real pain in the neck. Overall, the rug seems to be of good quality, and I do love the way its feels on my feet. It is very heavy! The color is nice but not as rich as I would like. And the smell is very bad. From a design point of view, I think this rug would be best in a room that has a lot of coverage by furniture (like under a bed). It has a very "harsh" pattern so looking at it on its own it definitely takes over the room instead of blending in. it seems to be competing with all my furniture.
