The media could not be loaded.  Being in a family of gamers, we often fall short of additional monitors. Extra monitors are always good for multi tasking and productivity, but often times, we don't want too much stuff on our desk. I already have a 15 inch portable monitor, but there are times that I wish I could carry something smaller. This 13.3 inch 2K monitor is just the right size for portability, and productivity without too much clutter.I was surprised how well packaged this monitor was. It was well secured for safely transport. The packaged contains the basic things you'll need, the monitor, a nice leather folio case, a monitor stand, usb power cable, power supply, and a mini HDMI cable. The first thing I tested is the iPad Pro, because I am always on the go. It worked perfectly fine with the iPad. The display color is a little flatter compared to the iPad, but that is already expected at 1000:1 contrast ratio. I tried connecting this to my laptop and gaming computer, and they worked perfectly fine. The 1440p resolution capability is great to have when you're playing games or watching videos, but for office productivity, I would prefer 1080p with bigger texts. Another thing I like about this monitor is the elegant brushed metal finish. It feels good to hold and sturdy.Out of the box, I don't like the color settings, but after a few adjustments in the menu system, I was able to get the colors that I like. The menu has freesync option for supported video cards, it worked well with my RTX 2080, but I wouldn't play FPS games on a 60Hz refresh rate.Overall, this monitor satisfies my use cases. Nice looking monitor that you can use for gaming, office productivity, or a handy monitor on your test bench for system builders. Highly recommended.

I bought this to give me a second screen for my laptop. I am on the road a lot and take my laptop but miss my extra screen on my desk at home. This is perfect. Quick setup and packup. Good picture. Stable connection to Macbook Pro 13 inch mid 2012. Can't wait to get a macbook with a Thunderbolt port so that I can get away from using two cables (USB power and HDMI cable) to connect the monitor to the laptop to a single cable. No complaints. Well-constructed. Now I have a portable office in my bag!Edit: After 2 month and 2 weeks, the monitor died. After a pop sound this morning, it now cycles on and off at about 3 second intervals. That means I can see it for three seconds before it cycles off and its is dark for three seconds. I will be trying to contact the manufacturer, and i will be glad to change the rating of this monitor back to 5 stars if the manufacturer will replace it.

I use dual screens when I work in my office, and so I wanted a second screen to use with my laptop when I travel.This compact portable monitor quickly plugs into my laptop's USB Type C port, which provides both the audio/video signal and power to the monitor. (The monitor comes with additional cables, including HDMI cables.)The monitor, itself, is housed in a premium brushed metal housing, and includes a leather-like protective case that also doubles as a stand for the monitor. The monitor and its slim protective case fit easily into my computer travel bag and take up surprisingly little space.The video images are very crisp, and the colors are vivid. (There are an abundance of settings that allow you to customize the display to your liking.)Customer service has been excellent. Ida, a Szoon customer service representative, was exceptionally helpful in resolving questions that I had.I'm very happy with the quality, portability, utility, and price of this monitor. It's been very helpful for me to be able to use a dual monitor set-up when I travel, just like I have in my office.

First of all, I purchased this with my own money, no discount.I've been using this almost daily for about 3 months and it works great. The speakers are not very good, the ones in my laptop sound better. The other reason I cannot give it 5 stars is because the cable is too stiff and really needs right angle connectors. I have an HP Spectre X2 2-in-1 that has the USB C ports in the display, not the keyboard. Vertically they are just above center of the display, which aligns it with the input on this monitor. The first picture shows the SZOON cable. I cannot get the displays very close together. The second picture shows the cable with right angle adapters. The problem was finding adapters that worked. Some don't carry video at all, some need to be plugged in the correct way. The same can be said for USB cables in general. USB C has many variants. For video make sure you look for Thunderbolt 3. Note the tag I put on my cable that says "video" so I can distinguish them from cables that cannot carry video. These "Poyiccot (2-Pack 90 Degree USB C Type C Male to Female Adapter, Right & Left Angled 90 Degree USB-C USB 3.1 Type-C Male to Female Extension Adapter for Laptop & Tablet & Mobile Phone" seem to be working fine, regardless of the way they are connected (see my review there).ProsNice size (almost matches my laptop)Nice resolution of 2560 x 1440. 16:9 aspect ratio.No power supply needed when using Thunderbolt 3. It gets power and video on the same connector.Mini HDMI connector (there is room for a full sized HDMI connector, which would have been better, needs adapter)Separate Micro USB power jack and USB C power jack for powering up when using HDMI. Would have been nice if the Micro USB was on the same side as the rest of the connectors. Would make a cleaner install.Headphone jackSpeakers (not very loud but work in a pinch)Carry case / stand included. 3 positions are enough for me. The middle one is about how I position my laptop anyway. In the case it is 319mm x 200mm x 15mm (the thumbscrews add another 3mm)VESA mounting holes. There are 6 threaded holes on the back. the case attaches with the 2 outermost ones. The 4 in a square are 75mm apart.ConsConnecting cable too stiff and needs right angle connectors in order to get the display close to your laptop.Speakers not very good.Does not come with HDMI to Mini HDMI adapter.It would be nice if the screen was held in the case via a surround of some sort. The screws on the back of the case get caught up going in and out of my bag. I also need to make sure they are facing away from my laptop or tablet.Bottom line, I would definitely purchase this again.
