dissolves in water and no flavor
It is a fine granular, but my picky cat insists I pulverize. He hates anything with texture

Good buy
Love this stuff! My kitty has weakness in his back legs. There was a time he could hardly walk, I believe this stuff helped him recover from that.

Punky is spunky again
My 18 year old cat Punky was losing muscle mass in his hind end as well as energy overall. He gets a scoop of this every morning in a serving of wet food and eagerly eats it up. He's now bouncing around with a noticeable increase in vitality! He's playing a lot and getting into trouble, just like he was when younger. I'm pleased with this supplement.

No results noticed
After trying 3 jars of this for my elderly dog who has been quickly losing muscle mass, I have seen no improvement at all. She is still steadily declining. I was advised by the manufacturer that it sometimes takes a few months for results to show, but I think I've given it plenty of time now and I see no change for the better. I know every case is different, but in my case, there was no benefit seen.

Cat likes it
Can’t really tell if it’s doing much for my 14 year old kitty, but he seems to like it sprinkled on his food, so I’ll consider it a win.

I Believe It Saved My Cat's Life
I couldn't rave about MYOS enough. For 3 years I'd struggled with my senior calico cat Marble to gain and retain weight. As a petite framed cat already, weighing 7.5 lbs at her heaviest, it was alarming when she started to lose weight in 2020 going from 7 lbs to 5 lbs within the span of 5 months and she began to act more and more lethargic. MYOS was our 9th attempt at helping her gain weight and it helped Marble gain and retain the weight as soon as we started! She even loves the flavor of it, refusing to eat her dry food until it's mixed in! A picky eater to begin with, she will clean a full bowl of her prescription dry food AND her supplemental wet food three times a day. She's much more filled out at a lean 6 lbs as of October 2023. Even now at 15 years old she's still able to jump to the top of our lifted bed with ease, and climb to the top of her cat tower near the ceiling with no additional supplements or medications needed. Her quality of life has so dramatically improved thanks to MYOS; I couldn't thank them enough for helping save my beloved Marble.

So far, so good
I am shocked my cat loves this as she is beyond finicky. I mix into her wet cat food and she is loving it. Too early to know if it is going to help with her muscle mass. She is 18 years old and we have noticed she has been loosing muscle mass and is a little weaker. We shall see.

Be Careful - Has high phosphorus content
I've been giving this to my cat for the last 6 months or so. I was only giving her a half the recommended dosage. About a month ago I upped the dosage to the recommended dosage and the last bloodwork done 3 weeks ago and then two days ago, both show increased phosphorus levels. Her other kidney values are high but unchanged. She stopped eating which is why we rechecked the blood. Her phosphorus levels just keep increasing and the Dr and I could not figure out why. I just did a little research to find out that Myos has way too much phosphorus for a cat with failing kidneys. It is also high in cholesterol, explaining why my cats cholesterol has gone up in the last 6 weeks. People give this to maintain muscle mass in their pets and that's a huge problem for kidney cats. BUT, this is not a product that a kidney cat should have. I feel terrible that I have actually made my cat worse with this product.
