Works like they are supposed to. Note: These are a small set of snap ring pliers and are NOT for heavy duty use.They work fine for small jobs (like working on my motorcycle).

It's not perfect. It is however inexpensive and if you take your time it will do the job that it was created to do. If you aren't slow and methodical the pieces will jump out when removing a ring. However, if you take your time and pay attention to what is happening with the tool it is an inexpensive and useful addition. I was using it to remove and replace the rings around bearings on a 3d printer. I was happy with the way it worked but for a everyday tool, you can probably do better.

Great tool, awesome price!
I had Jesus clips holding my riding mowers tires on. You have to have this tool to get them off. I replaced them with E-clips. Save yourself time and frustration. Awesome price for a tool I only needed one time.

The magical tool
This is the magical tool that is needed to take apart a Kitchenaid stand mixer so you can grease the gears. I tried doing the job without it first. (Because what else am I honestly gonna use this for?) But I quickly realized there was NO way I was getting that weird little clamp off without breaking it. So the mixer had to sit for a few days until this was delivered. And oh man what a difference this thing made! Couple of seconds and BAM I was greasing up those gears! Small investment to save my $600 mixer. In a few years when I need to grease again I've already got the tool for it.

Don’t purchase.
I didn’t even get all the pieces to this product. The pieces are cheap, they don’t stay on the handle and bad machining makes the tips unable to fit into any ring holes. The concept seems useful but in reality, it sucks. They need better a design where the spring won’t pop out having the pieces fall apart when you apply pressure to the handles. They need to discontinue this product until they have a new design.

Well worth the money
Works great, versatile and I'm sure if any springs or small parts break that it would be an easy DIY fix. My kind of tool.
