This was a gift for my son since I have had one for a while and it has worked like a charm. I know that this item is not really needed - we got along just fine without it for decades but it is one of those inventions that is so simple and practical that you just do not know how you got along without it. It takes a niggly job and makes it dead simple and fast. Taking your deer to the butcher (or even if you do it yourself) clean and with no mess results in a higher quality product and less wastage. The gut knife was nice to have packaged with it and the replaceable blade means that it will last for a very long time. The same as for the Butt Out, it is not needed, everyone has a knife but it reduces the chances of nicking something and just speeds up the overall process. Being blaze orange also means that the chances of losing either one is pretty small. So a fair price for a useful tool is also a good deal as well.

Great Quality. A must-have for any hunter. Works great. The blade is replaceable with standard Stanley knife blades. A bit fiddley to change at first, but once changed a few times it gets easier.
