Amana Edge Banding Bit Set
Ordered and used these extensively on a kitchen cabinet door project. They did a wonderful job of edgebanding and if not mitered on the corners gives a decorative triangular edge that looks very artistic. A good way to match old doors with new. Highly recommend.

Set is great but difficult to center
This is the way to go if you want a strong edge but getting them centered is a chore. I am sure those who have perfect eyesight and measuring tools might get it maybe after several uses but getting started it's incredibly difficult to get them centered. So much so most videos and websites will tell you to make the band out of something thicker than the material you are attaching it to so that you can then use another bit to cut it flush.

Edge Banding Router Bits
These router bits are the most expensive, but worth it! Very versitile and tough. Lots of mileage out of the first sharpening. Plywood is not very forgiving on bits. These held up well.

Poor Quality Control
I just received this, removed the rubberized coating and found BOTH bits were damaged.I am very surprised as this came with a nice protective covering on the bits to protect them from damage.I removed the rubber coating with my fingernails (not a tool that could damage the bit) to find that both were damaged. The bit that cuts the female groove has a gouge on the long cutting edge. The bit that cuts the male end of the joint has a corner knocked off of the bit.I'm hoping this is a one-off issue, but don't have a good feeling based on another review that showed a damaged part.I'm not sure how these got passed QC for the price I paid for them.**UPDATE: I just received a replacement. The new bit that cuts the female end of the joint is good with no damage (new image). The bit that cuts the male end is damaged. So far I'm 1 for 4.I'll try one more time to see if I can receive a non-damaged set of bits.AMANA TOOL: DOES ANYONE INSPECT THESE BITS FOR DAMAGE BEFORE SHIPPING??! I'm very unimpressed with their QC. This is not a shipping issue. These left the factory in a damaged state.

Received damaged product
Received the bit today and there is a nick on one of the cutting edges. Others have stated this. I figured i would give them the benefit of the doubt but they proved the other reviews right. Try buying this bit from another seller. Maybe a different website. Ill be looking for it elsewhere.

Another defective cutter
Like others, my bit set arrived with a chip out of one cutting edge. Not large but enough to cause problems with edge banding. Mine came from Routerbitworld but I don't think the problem is with the distributor but rather with Amana's QC, or lack thereof. I checked Whiteside and they don't make a comparable set but MLCS offers a basic set for about $50 and a premium set for $110. Amana needs a wakeup call with regards to QC, at the prices they charge defective bits are just not acceptable.
