This dress was definitely a head turner… I loved everything about this dress. There is some stretch but not a lot… The dress is well made and very versatile… I wore this to a funeral but it can easily be worn at any occasion.. I will be ordering in a different color as well ❤️

My initial thoughts upon opening the package:dress is quite heavyMaterial of the lacy overdress is scratchy (I was thinking more lacy or crochetedSilver metal zipper CLEARLY visible (not a fan)Slip dress felt cheapI tried it on. I was afraid the overdress would be too tight on my chubby arms. It did fit snug but not too snug (once I got them adjusted in the sleeve), it was too long for me as well. The slip dress didn't fit real tight like I expected from reading other reviews and was down to my knees (**HOWEVER** I'm only 5' 2" so it would be shorter on a taller frame). I knew I'd have to do some tweaking to make it look right and all the tweaks were surprisingly simple due to the material and the design of the dress.I painted over the silver zipper with black (just to tone it down a bit). I pulled the slip dress up right under my bra line and tucked it under my bra (to make the dress shorter without altering it). That made a world of difference in the look!! The slip dress really needs to come about mid-thigh to look right. The over was too long as well and the fit was off (for my frame) but we were able to draw it up under the armpits and tack it that raised the little pouff to just the right place. I wasn't really a fan of the bow in front. If you have a tiny waist and big boobs I think it would look awesome but it wasn't flattering on me. I pulled the ties almost to the front and weaved them through the lace a little then tied in back. That also pulled the over dress a little tight to show off my curves more. The kneck is very high and I didn't think I would care for it but it didn't bother me at all. In fact I didn't notice it.Overall, my first impression vs. my final results were worlds apart. I was rather disappointed opening it but with a few SIMPLE alterations and adjustments the dress was showstopping. I got compliments all night. As a bonus, I decided the slip dress looks pretty amazing with a belt and a sheer scarf/shawl over the shoulders. Also I think the over would look smokin over a contrasting bustier or cami with some pants. There's more than one dress. I think you could get a few different outfits from it. I am not disappointed that I bought it and I will wear it different ways quite often I believe.

White elegant, definitely looks like I pay more for it than I did. Excellent quality, in fact I purchase a black one and a white one.

My daughter looked absolutely stunning for her formal dance. It fits her edgy style. The belt IS NOT detachable. However, I was able to detach it with a seam ripper and some scissors. The belt is cheap and doesn't complement the dress at all. Also this is a 2 piece dress. There is a fitted dress underneath and then the lace overlay.

The dress can get caught up under your shoe other than that perfectly beautiful beautiful it fits your body

It wasn't super flattering on me so I gave it to my bestie to wear to a wedding. I purchased a medium and it fit both of us well. Minimal stretch and felt a little restricting. Probably best to wear in the fall as the lace material is somewhat thick.

To big have to return

very elegant gown. Has a under slip to it which can be worn as a mini dress if you dont use the lace part of the garment
