After reading some of the reviews and seeing that there were other people who used this for toolbox liner, I decided to give it a shot. I was specifically looking for solid liner, as opposed to the mesh type toolbox liner, and this seemed to fit the bill (no duck pun intended). It is exactly what i needed. I wanted this for use in old tool box restoration. while both solid and mesh work, I prefer the look of solid liner. Easy to cut, very flexible and plenty of grip.My only complaint, well, not really a complaint, more of a point of interest, is that it is difficult to get a perfectly straight cut. With mesh liner you can cut right along the mesh and get a straight cut. Freehand cutting is not very accurate (I tried. It didn't work.) Instead, what I did was use a ruler to make a straight line and laid down a line of masking tape and cut along the line. It gives you a very straight line, it just takes some time. Which since I'm doing restoration, the time doesn't really bother me. Just a point of interest to consider when deciding whether this product.

I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons:1: I would really appreciate more widths offered at all lengths, as it creates a significant amount of waste if your shelves are slightly over 10 inches deep.2: It doesn't grip the shelf as well as some other liners and this gets annoying when used in a drawer or a place that gets items slid onto it.Other than that it is a good product.

pretty simple idea, and it works. size may or may not be good for your situation, but it's easily cut to fit. good padding but isn't super thick or rigid. lays nice and flat. doesn't completely keep things from rolling, but does knock it down a bunch. and if something does roll, it dampens the sound a ton.

This stuff is great. I use it in my tool boxes. Easy to cut to length, rests flat and does a pretty good job of stopping tools from sliding around. Make sure to hide it from your wife, she'll find more ways to use this stuff than you could think of.

I love this product!! In addition to great lining material for tool box drawers, I have used it for desk pads for a writing desk and a computer desk. It also makes a great pad to put on your workbench when you are scoring glass. Very glad Amazon offers this, and will be buying more!!

Exactly what I needed to line the shelves of my new garage cabinet. I needed them to be solid so no liquids would reach the metal shelves and possibly cause corrosion. Keeps things in place with its non-skid surface. I'm going to order more to cover my wood work surface.

I am using it as a runner for under my pet bowls to protect the floor and allow easy cleaning. Much larger, better, and more affordable than those marketed by pet manufacturers. Good deal, and further proves the versitility of the product.
