This textbook is well-written and I was able to understand it well enough to get an A in the class I bought it for.

Required For College Class and Not the Greatest Book to match the class
While this book was required for a college class, we hardly talked about the contents at all in class. If you had questions about the material you were best to find a classmate to discuss it with. While it might be a good book for those taking child development classes, this is a highly technical book that need structured lesson planning to fully benefit from it. If your buying this for a college class, I wish you better luck than I had.
