Excellent connection, holding tension, and ease of use.
I've been using these for LED String Module installations and find them perfect. Tried the little Aliexpress IDC connectors (the red, and the black ones that use two per connection) and neither of those work for my small wires - they won't stay closed or the insulation won't fit in the first place, even with little 20 ga wires. These clips on the other hand work well. I avoided them at first since they are just a spring contact, but they do hold the wire well, and for small currents and 20 ga or so wires, they do very nicely and are simply unbeatable for ease of use. You do need to make sure the wire goes right in the center of the clip since the button basically presses down on the clip with two side rails and some of the wires will hit those and not go into the nip point. Excellent for LED installations. Etsy AKGenesisCreations.

Impressive
These connectors are going to be a great way for splicing small conductors in my low voltage projects. They work with both solid and stranded conductors. The connections are of a push-button spring-type and they lend themselves to be used as a means of disconnecting a load without the use of a tool.Their design is strictly for dry (NEMA 1/ IP20) low voltage applications ( <48V). Ideal applications include automotive, control cabinets, low-voltage lighting, and other projects.

Much easier than wire nuts or splices and electrical tape
As has been noted by others, these are great for model railroads. When you're under the platform, connectors are much easier to use than the alternatives. One note though: Although the trains only use 18V and not many amps, I have had multiple of these connectors melt. If the wire has any oxidation, it's better to cut it off and strip a fresh section of wire so you have the best contact within the connector.

Model railroaders will love these things!
I absolutely LOVE love LOVE these things. I've been using these for sectional model railroads that have to be moved every few years and this makes splicing wire between the sections super easy. #14 wire does work with these but they would be better used with #16 and smaller for ease of use. Also be prepared to purchase screws with small heads for attaching them as they require them or double sided adhesive strips to attach them to things.Oh, as a side note, the little box these come in is actually pretty decent quality and is great for storing small tools or electronic components as i've been using them for.

Good concept. Too big for me.
Larger than I expected and a few were broken inside the box upon initial opening.Wanted to like them, but returned for refund.

use and reuse these endlessly
I don't write a lot of reviews, but I have to speak up for these little gizmos. I do a lot of electronics projects with kids, and there are by far the simplest, quickly way I've found to hook up small wires. I bought one pack years ago and my boys and I have used and reused these in dozens of projects. I almost feel bad for the seller, because I paid so little for so much. So, I've decided to get an extra pack just on principle.

works well with 16 awg size copper wire.
I have found these work well with 16ga copper speaker wire (class2 for in-wall) for low voltage strip lighting.14ga speaker wire speaker wire is a bit too large as is the 14ga solid copper wire.14ga can be forced into the connector but is not advisable. It works well with 16 gage wires and smaller, but 16ga is the max in my opinion.Size 4 screw works to secure the connector.
