Q: I have this item but cannot get it to stay flush in my plaster walls. I tried an anchor and it still pulled out the wall. Can anyone help?

Check the screws on the back. I received two of these, & one of them has flat screws so it works, but the other had screws with rounded heads, so it wouldn't lay flush no matter what. I had to return that one. This also really doesn't seem to be heavy duty either, so I wouldn't put much weight on it (like, no more than the key it's advertised holding). The ceramic ones they offer however will hold quite a bit if that's what you're looking for.

Q: what are the dimensions and how much does it weigh?

Hello Tracy,The dimensions are aprox. 9 inches from the wall deep and around 4.5 inches wide. The item weighs around 1lbs. It hangs from 2 holes in the back of the hand.Thank you

Q: Why are some products made of resin and some of ceramic? Is there a way to purchase them all in a specific material?

Hello great question, we recently transitions into moving into a 1 piece ceramic finish and material for all hands. Some of the older models are still made from resin but eventually they will all be made from ceramic materials.
