Best chutney in the world - a great addition to any curry and adds flavor to quiches and charcuterie. This one has a slight tinge of spice but isn’t too hot to handle. The product lasts well in the refrigerator and is good value. The fruit base gives the chutney a soft sweet flavor while the vinegar adds a sharp tangy side to balance it all out. Highly recommended

Thought I’d try something new, and I’m so glad I did! Mrs H.S. Balls Original Chutney is yummilicious—rich, tangy, and full of flavor. I tried it on a hotdog, just like they do in South Africa, and it was amazing. The wide-mouth jar makes it easy to use, and I’ll definitely be buying it again!

Not quite as spicy as I would like, but still fantastic. Unfortunately, Amazon shipped this in a thin, woefully insufficient unpadded paper mailer, and the the lid partially burst open in shipping. Thankfully my bottle was unspoiled and mostly intact, but this is becoming a recurring theme.

I grew up with this back home in South Africa. It's a chutney and a distinct flavor. Adds a lot to any dish. I use it making chutney/mayo chicken, a South African staple. Great on a sandwich (toasted) even better with any sausage especially boerewors (south african farm sausage)

This chutney is delicious and addictive. It has its own distinctive taste. It perfect with a ham and cheese sandwich. It is fruity and rich. The size is generous. Use is limited only by your imagination. For example, use it to top a chicken salad. It doesn't taste like a typical chutney, it is not too sweet but rather tangy. I recommend you add this to your condiments for its distinctive attributes.

The lid on the jar was leaking and the sticky substance was oozing out. It tasted fermented and I would like a refund or a replacement.

Still stays the best chutney ever. Great for cooking. Resly good taste.

When I unwrapped the bubble wrap , the lid was loose and some of the product had leaked out , not sure if it was shipping or some one opened it , I checked it for cracks as it is a plastic container , it was a loose lid .
