Love this item and it is perfect for creativity and fine motor skills. The cards and perfect for my three year old niece.The three year old instantly started mixing the colors and like play dough it is hard to separate. After awhile we just gave up and let it be a huge mix of colors.Never dries out is a plus.I wish this item came with a carrying case. The item only comes with a case that just has a peel back thing that’s plastic and that is not resealable.Some of the small balls in the item do sometimes get separated and were on the floor. They are easy to clean up.

My son just started summer break after his first year of preschool and this is the perfect way to keep him fresh on his numbers. He does not enjoy just sitting and doing worksheets. He is fascinated by the texture of the playfoam and is eager to make every number and shape. It is also a good review of colors since there are 8 different ones included. He struggles a bit with fine motor skills, so the playfoam allows him to very neatly write the numbers and increases his confidence in properly forming each number's shape.

First of all when you receive this there isn’t really a container with lid for it. Just a tray with plastic wrap so there is no way to store it properly. Passing that this is fun for to play with with out molding it to the shapes and numbers. Fun and creative for any kids. A nice buy just needs containers to store. I used ziplock bags since those where right on hand.

This is an amazing product. It's easy to clean up, does not stick to the carpet and it never dries out. My kids spend hours playing with the foam. I will buy more for them. I recommend this over play doh and other sticky messy products.

The playfoam works great as a no-mess sensory activity! My son is only 18 months so we aren't actually using the foam to practice numbers or shapes yet, but I wanted to get him some sort of a sensory toy that wouldn't make a huge mess. He loves to rip it up and then mash it all back together into a big ball. The foam doesn't dry out (I've left it out for the last two weeks or so and it's still like new) and it doesn't leave sticky residue behind on our hands or the table. It does pick-up a bit dirt / pet hair when dropped on the floor, but not nearly as badly as I was afraid of. Since my son is so young I do have to watch him like a hawk to make sure he isn't picking individual beads out of the foam to eat (which he now thinks is a hilarious game), but I know this won't be an issue once he gets a bit older (recommended age for this toy is 3+),

My kids really enjoyed squishing it around and had fun playing with it. My four year old had a tough time molding it to make the shapes. I was not the biggest fan of how messy it gets. Little pieces of it seemed to come off all over. Also, if you see my picture, there is one that isn't in the nice holder so it all need to be taken out and put into separate bags. If it touches another color it will stick to it so it mixes very easily even having just two colors out. Over all, cute and fun, but not the biggest fan.

This is such a fun product! My older daughter is 8, and she just ADORED playing "teacher" with some younger pre-school aged friends that we had over at our house. THEY loved playing with the playfoam (and creating all sorts of fun shapes). SHE loved feeling like she was helping them to learn something new. I loved that there was no mess to clean up afterwards. I am going to call this an all around WIN!!!

I use this in my Kindergarten classroom for independent centers and the kids love using it. Not messy!
