I really enjoyed reading the book. It was informative, and it was at a level that my grandkids. We’re going to start an ant colony sometime this month so this is exciting.

I have been ant keeping for quite sometime. Ants are incredibly complex and each species has its own rules and guidelines. Creating a beginner book is quite challenging, however, I think this author did an excellent job covering all the many aspects of ant keeping basics and generalizing information that can help a beginner. This will provide a beginner with a strong foundation of terminology, ant keeping basics and give insight to help aid further research as you move from beginner to advanced ant keeping.Definitely a good read for anyone looking to get into ant keeping.

This was a birthday gift for my 9 year old obsessed with ants, it fell apart at the spine after 2nd look at it! Many pages separated. Junk construction 😡

Very disappointed in this book, it’s not for kids. My 8 year olds are not able to read the technical terms and black and white photos are not “illustrations”. Don’t get it unless you’re looking for a basic textbook on ant keeping.

Cute facts and not too technical. Great compliment to the ant farm we boight.
