This wireless remote outlet is an excellent product and works great! I have a medium pump attached to a fountain in my landscape and this wireless remote allows me to turn it on & off at will from inside my house. The remote appears to have great range and function every time I press the on/off button without extra pushes and that is from about 50 feet away.While I use this for the water pump it obviously would work well for other uses such as lighting, both permanent, like patio lights, and temporary such as holiday lights.The outlet is grounded and has a hanger capability for extra safety and is built very well. I don't think you could beat this for the price.

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall -- this outdoor remote works through them all. Used for string lights on an RV, controlling low-voltage lights on the perimeter, ...My only wish is that they sold remotes individually. Sometimes 2 remotes aren't enough, especially when one gets damaged beyond repair. It seems like a missed sales opportunity.

Good. Like the fact that this has two remotes. Only complaint or caution is that the plug is really bulky and did not easily fit under the weatherproof outlet cover. Had to plug in top outlet so now bottom outlet is blocked.

This seems to work great so far. The best part is you do not need line of sight in order for it to work. I use this to turn the dust collector on and off for my CNC Router. So much easier than jumping up and down. Well worth the money. Would definitely buy again

One thing I don’t like is the lip on the front bottom. Since the device is also intended be used outdoors, it might be to help keep the elements out, but that made it incompatible with the angled plug I wanted to plug into it. I’d preferred the lip not be there so I didn’t have to add a jumper with a normal plug. I also had some trouble opening the battery compartment on the remote. Other than that, it’s heavy duty and works with my old air conditioner.

Worked well for my application

This remote is real step saver, allowing on/off function for outdoor lighting and equipment from safely inside the house. I purchased the unit to remotely turn on and of an ice melting door mat. The mat draws 5 amps so I only want it to operate as needed. Since the time you would want it on would be inclement weather outside it is very nice to be able to activate the mat without going outside in the snow.
