Ordinariy we would never, ever order a sofa, couch, etc without being able to sit or lay on on it at a store first.However due to peronal circumstances I won't get into, we couldn't go out and hit all the various furnitures stores and do our normal testing, therefore we ordered this. It had a good look to it. Didn't have skinny little feet (note: don't ever buy chairs or sofas with skinny little feet / legs . . . that will be the first thing that goes).I am not very "handy" with anything mechanical but was able to put it together (minus the ottomon) in about two hours by myself with the tools provided. Not sure why so many people complain about the tool that comes with the unit. Frankly the biggest issue was getting rid of the cardboard boxes they come in (i.e. cutting them up into sizes that recycle will pick up).One caution: I made the mistake of not looking at how low the couch sits. So if you have a family member that has some issues getting up / off of low height furniture, think carefully before ordering this.I ended up having to buy 3" foam strips to put under the cushions to make it easier for said family member to more easily get up off the thing.I could give it a 4 because it does have the right kind of feet and looks nice. The low height of it is my fault for not looking at that.However, if I had gone to a store and sat / laid down on this it would not have passed my test for long term comfort and we would have bought something else. BUT I will say if you are a sitution where for whatever reason you can't get out to "test drive" sofas in stores, this is not a bad option from the perspective of ordering furniture online.

I've had this couch for a little over a year and is still holding up well, a few things though, the fabric is not durable, I have 3 cats so durability is a must unfortunately it is pretty easily ripped. The second and more major issue I'm having is the wood is extremely fragile, the back pieces of the couch are very loose and you have to be careful in some spots because if you lean back the wood will crack more. One part already broke off and I had to install new screws and drill new holes and now it's a bit lopsided. Pluses are the couch is very comfortable and the fabric doesn't attract hair and putting it together was extremely easy.

Our old couch was falling apart and started to rip from the dog using it. At first, the couch was amazing. it was stiff in the beginning but it was still comfortable. As time went on, the springs started to become more noticeable and the edges fell flat. The edges also started to fray and pull apart. I've had to stitch up the couch more than I thought I should. With dogs and a toddler, this couch isn't going to be as tough as we hoped. It fits well in our living room and was easy to put together. Sometimes, if you want something nice and to last, you don't need to cut corners and find the cheapest thing available.

Really great couch for the price!Arrived within the scheduled delivery time and came in three separate boxes. Two of the boxes were about refrigerator size for the length and height, but not nearly as wide. The third was smaller for the ottoman. My husband and the delivery person were able to carry them up three flights of stairs and into my tiny apartment.The couch took about 2-3 hours to put together, was very straightforward with the instructions and all parts were included. Would recommend at least two people assembling together if possible. When all put together, the arms and back pieces do move when force is applied and they are not up against something, but this could be because of the way it was assembled.The cushions are pretty stiff but not uncomfortable and I’m sure they will soften up after use. The pillows for the back are REALLY comfortable and it also came with two little extra pillows that are just as comfy. Couch fits perfectly in my tiny living room.Only on day one so far, but very happy with the purchase! My toddler loves it too!

Since we were going to be at home for the indefinite future, I decided to get a couch. Since we move quite a bit, I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. But I also wanted something decent. Had actually been considering this couch for a year, but I guess was never home enough to finish the purchase.I (not in great shape or particularly strong) put it together on my own, I didn’t time it. But I put some records on and did it. I botched something up at one point, had to unscrew and re-screw but it was my fault for not paying close enough attention. I love putting furniture together, but even if you don’t, I’d judge this as pretty easy. A little time-consuming but hello, it’s a whole couch and a sectional no less. Boxes were enormous and heavy. Again, of course. It arrived earlier than anticipated, so I guess just a heads up depending on your living circumstances. I thankfully have a covered porch so these were protected from the rain for hours on the surprise day they came.We have had it now for two months I think, and still love it. It has two teens, one adult, and a dog on at any given time early 24 hours a day. It does get softer over time. I am wondering if the cushions will lose some of the oomph, if they do, I’ll put some foam underneath them and don’t consider it an issue. For the price, it looks amazing and it comfy. We threw a bunch of throw pillows, two cozy blankets, and a small tapestry on the ottoman (aka where the dog mostly sits). I did have to clean up dog puke (ugh), and it came out with a dog mess upholstery cleaner so I’m happy about that too.All in all, for the price, I’m not sure you can do better. Even if down the road I had to make or replace new cushions (or leave it when I move), it’s worth it. I have to say the past 5 months of being at home is way better having a comfy (& nice looking) couch in the living room. It changed our living space entirely.
