I took a gamble on this, no other reviews at time of writing.Just installed it and so far I’m impressed.Pros:-long lead-splitter to retain function of original button-good click (appears to have a cherry mx blue switch or equivalent - very good.)Cons:-LED isn’t configurable. It cycles/flashes through different colours constantly, there is no way to change this other than leaving the LED power cables disconnected. Not a big deal but it’s still a waste. Solid colours would be more appealing.For around a tenner, it’s still fantastic.

Easy to install IF you know how.Its a useful way to boot up, restart your pc if not at arms length. Could easily be set into a desk, even a keyboard with an area that could accommodate it obviously would need tools & ability.Would be great with an after market key cap as a standalone desk item.Bright randomized LED (saw someone complain it couldn't be programmable, obviously it cant be unless additional connectivity & circuitry were added resulting in a far more expensive & thus unsaleable product).Also useful as a test bench restart if you dont wish to "jump" restart using a key/screwdriver all the time.

The media could not be loaded.  Switch seems to work well, I like the size, feel and supply of a couple of sticky pads to mount it with. Great key motion, especially for an on/off switch. I like the idea of it having an LED in it, but this is waaaay to flashy to have anywhere near your line of sight

Switch does what it should but the RGB is horrific and can not be programmed, just dont connect the wires for it.

I have to walk all the way around my desk to get to my PC.I installed this switch and now I just click "On" from my desk and the PC starts up as if I pressed the power button on the actual PC.Same thing with switching off - I just click this switch and the PC shuts down.INSTALLATIONThankfully, this kit comes with a Y-splitter for the power wires - so your PC's switch can continue to work.I'm happy with electronics so connecting this wasn't difficult for me.However, if you are new to the inside of a PC - you might find it a challenge.If you have a PC expert friend - you should ask him/her for help.FLASHY LEDOf course, I didn't connect the switch's flashy LED - definitely don't need it - but I made sure that my PC's Power LED still functions. That took a bit of finessing - I used a couple of short breadboard jumper wires to maintain the PC's Power LED connection and it works great.I've got to say... I love this switch so much - It's absolutely perfect for me.Unobtrusive and Convenient!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAA+++

perfect for testing a new build out of the case just put build together connect psu to board and this to Motherboard header and click to start pc
