Very nice kit for teaching children how to assemble parts

The instructions definitely need improvement as the first (colored) of two manuals is in a different language and the second manual although given in English is not properly organized or explained (I think it’s due to poor translation). You’re best bet in getting proper instructions is to looking under the product images and they display somewhat better instructions there. Another complaint is the amount of exposed wire they give you and the heat shrinking connector they provide. My suggestion is that you buy a cheap pair of wire cutters (that are suitable for 18-22 awg wire) to strip the wire a little farther back and to buy a cheap soldering kit with some electric tape. First solder the wires together using the iron and some solder then insulate the connections with the tape (heating the tape so it shrink would be even better(can be done with lighter or heat gun)). The shrink wrap they provide is not the best and if you don’t strip the wire back you’ll most likely have a loose connection. Besides those two errors V car works exceptionally. It can go forward and backward, but is not designed to turn. It can be only recharged with RECHARGABLE BATTERIES and it needs 6+ hours of direct full sunglight for a full charge.

Does not work . And way too hard to build. I spent hours and it did not work.

Besides the missing wheels there were also other parts missing. Didn’t want the two children with the missing parts to feel slighted, so we had to finish this project at a later date when we get two extra kits. They were so disappointed!

The biggest issue is it does not include any directions in English if that is the only language you speak. The price is reasonable. I now have to figure out a way to share the directions with my students in English and translating it is very difficult and time consuming.
