THIS IS THE ONE YOU NEED!
A fantastic controller and great support service from the seller. The 1 star review was not accurate or fair they did not contact the seller for assistance and I do not blame him for not knowing how to operate the controller it can be very frustrating but they offer excellent assistance. I did contact the seller when I was not able to successfully program the controller and very patiently they explained all to me to operate it easily and have not had a problem since only successes using a jewelry kiln for perfect burnouts and castings... Well worth the cost... Many videos on how to wire the controller to power, an SSR and thermocouple on YouTube.

Works good once you get it figured out
Works good once you get it figured out. Instructions are a little difficult to understand. Takes some practice and experimentation to get to work right. Make sure you go to the mfr website for more detailed instructions/manual

Pid controller
I hate this thing. I should have bought a real one like the Fiji. I haven't yet figured out how to even run a program. The instructions are useless. Don't buy this product.

Great upgrade for the kiln
There are a lot of expensive kiln controllers that are way above the hobbyist price range. This temperature controller is a very reasonably priced option that allows for ramp/soak programming. Great for doing a wax or resin burnout program. On the lower end (300 degrees) of the program the stable temperature range fluctuates more but at 700 degrees and 1350 degrees it is within a degree or two. This is more due to the kiln than it is the controller. The only drawback is a lack of documentation with the controller. There are however plenty of YouTube videos that explain how to set up the program.

Pretty good. The controller itself seems to work well
Pretty good. The controller itself seems to work well. It took a few tries to get the program set up correctly. The interface is not intuitive nor is the programming. It could use another set of buttons to make it more user friendly. Also the form factor is silly. This is a really small instrument. Look at the description. It looks bigger, but it's 2x2x3.5 or so (in inches). It didn't come with any sort of mounting locations or hardware. There are no brackets or screw holes or anything. It says it's a 1/16 DIN, but I haven't found anyway to secure it in place yet more sophisticated than a couple of zip ties.

Please also let me know the application, like is it for glass industry or smoker or...Thanks,Anooshka see lessBy Thermomart SELLER on June 23, 2016Have the same unit. I DO need the temp of your kiln to be controlled in a timely manner (ramp and soak PID) or not (set point PID)? Both Ramp and Soak, and it will need a set point. Thank you very much
