I purchased this product for a relative who bought a new macbook but didn't know about the new usb c ports so all her devices printer, external hard drives etc won't work without an adapter. I searched up for one and decided on this. The adapter is plug & play no drivers needed, it feels solid and matches the color of the macbook, all the usb connections work fine and you can charge you phone through it as well. When plugged in it is secure as long as you're not moving the macbook around. I'd advise you to plug whatever devices you have into the adapter first then plug it into the mac and if you need to plug out something disconnect the adapter first then plug out the device.

I purchased both this hub and the bigger hub with HDMI port. I use this hub mainly for its small size. It's convenient for carrying around and being able to easily connect and transfer data from my SD cards and hard drive. The way it connects to the side of the laptops also makes it easier to move around with rather than having a wired hub that hangs. I'm happy with my purchase.

This USB adapter comes in handy when transferring my files over to my MacBook I like that its small so i can just throw it in my pocket when I'm on the go and need to transfer video from my GoPro to my MacBook quickly. I haven't had any connection problems thus far but I do make sure to securely hold the adapter in place when I'm plugging things in and out of itYou

This small dongle is a good low cost option for getting the ports back that are missing from the new MacBooks. Its easy to use and its small size makes it good to travel with. It only occupies 1 Thunderbolt port on my MacBook leaving the other ports available if you want to utilize them. It’s a good dongle for the price.

This adapter works well with my macbook pro. Easily able to plug it in and connect my devices. One thing to note is that the hubs connector is positioned at the end of the hub so when plugging it in and out I would advise others to grab the hub at the point where the connector to the macbook is as to avoid bending it. Other than that works as described.
