Bottom Line: DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK HAVING AN UNOPENABLE DOOR.So, I have not commented on very many items I've purchased because of the time involved in doing so. However, in this case I'll make an exception. THIS LOCKSET IS A PIECE OF JUNK. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for and this was CHEAP. Thought I would simply be getting a good indoor push button lock. First, installation required additional holes in the door - major minus, but willing to do it. Second, the lockset was stiff from the get go. I did the install then tested it with my selected combination not once, not twice, not three times, but a full six times to ensure the latch would properly retract. I set the lock and closed the door and lo and behold the lock failed to open the door. No, it was not too tight for the latch to work, no I didn't install improperly, I am a competent carpenter, handyman and engineer. This was very disappointing. After exhausting all alternatives, I called Amazon and informed them that I would have to drill the screw locations to open this lockset and I wanted their assurance that I would be able to get a full refund. To their credit, after a short discussion, they assured me that full refund would be forthcoming if I sent them the damaged lockset after successful dissassembly. Just before beginning the drilling of the screw positions, I decided to set the combination one more time and then just crank on the handle even if it rotated and broke. Only then did it open. Needless to say, the lockset was now damaged and I would NEVER trust it again. I got off without any other damage to my door and a waste of an hour and a half of my time.

I can see why this product was on sale. It doesn't work. I broke immediately after installation
