Great for wading!
I’m an avid steelhead and trout fishermen and tried multiple nets to carry while wading. Nothing has compared to the EGO for it’s sturdiness. The rubber netting is great for catch and released fish with no harm and I’ve landed a bunch of 8 + lb brown trout and steelhead with this net.

Over all great product. Used a handful of times not on my kayak. Weak point I neing the net where it attaches to metal tube. Just would seem smarter to make that section of netting tougher then anything and it's not. Time will tell but for right now it works just fine.

Quality.
Rubber type net with larger holes. Smaller net holes get tangled more often with hooks. Had one before but I ran over it!

Shouldve just thrown a 50 dollar bill into the ocean.
Went to reach for my net fishing in the surf and it was gone. Only thing left was the carabiner and tether hooked to my wade belt. It was my first time using it. Couldn't be more pissed and disappointed.

Good net but beware; modifications needed
I took this net out on a trip after receiving it a couple of days ago. The net itself performed well. The only problem is that I no longer have it as the bungee cord that attaches it to my belt failed and the net was lost in the surf. If you purchase this net (and I think I will have to do this again), the first thing you should do is remove the bungee that is included and replace it with a length of paracord. I plan on drilling a hole in the handle and running the cord through the hole. The net was a good value at $32. Now that I am effectively paying $65 for it, not so much.
