I use these plates for sandwiches and the size is perfect. The plates are well made and the finish is smooth. The packaging was excellent and there was no breakage.

The plates may well have been sturdy, but any crockery of this weight requires more immobilization and cushioning than the packaging afforded. The corners on one edge of the plates were broken and loose in the package upon opening.
