If it were not for the packaging, I would believe this is a brand new keyboard.
This is refurbished? Everything in terms of appearance and performance looks and feels exactly like a brand new model. This is my second Logi MX Keys, adding it to my full size MX Keys that has been reliable 3 years strong now with heavy daily use, as well as my two MX Master 3S mice.Only ONE negative thing to say about this - it did NOT ship with a USB dongle as every new in box Logi peripheral I have purchased has in the past..I still give it 5 stars though, great value for the money spent, and looks and feels like its brand new.

Forgettably good.
This is another one of those things that you don't notice is good because it fades into the background as soon as you start using it.Currently I am using only desktop keyboards that are close enough to the layout and feel of my ThinkPad keyboard so that it's not jarring to go back and forth. This does that well.I also have other Logi items, so there was no need to load extra software to do key assignment/macros.IDK what to say about it. You will never think about your keyboard again, unless you are prompted to review it. That's a pretty good endorsement IMHO

Logitech Keyboard Review
This keyboard has been really great so far. It is compatible with my Apple laptop. I got the color black to match with my Logitech mouse. The light for the keys lights up bright and auto turns off when not in use. Def worth the price of a new one but i got used one for a good deal. For me, it functions better then a mechanical keyboard for the office.

Best Keyboard I Own
I can honestly say, that the Logitech MX Keys Mini Keyboard is the best keyboard I’ve ever owned. The keys cup my fingers perfectly and they’re very responsive, making touch-typing smooth, fast, and easy. The keyboard has a decent heft to it, but in my opinion, it’s not unreasonably heavy. The soft rubber anti-slip pads on the bottom of the keyboard keep it in place, even on a slippery surface. The adjustable strength keyboard backlighting is a nice feature, and it can be turned off via the function “Fn” keys, if/when backlighting is not needed. The first three function “Fn” keys permit instant switching between devices, i.e. cellphones, pads, and PC’s. Programming them is easy and fast.Hint 1: Use the included Logitech Quick Start MX Keys card that contains the QR code to access the online startup instructions and register the keyboard.Hint 2: To set the keyboard into Bluetooth connectivity mode, turn the keyboard on, press and hold the F1 key for about three seconds until it begins to flash. A six-digit number will appear on the device you’re pairing with, along with instructions to type that number on the keyboard. After entering the six-digit number, press the Enter key, and the keyboard is now successfully paired with your device.Hint 3: If the dedicated emoji (F7) key doesn’t work with your device, here’s a workaround that will allow you to access the emoji menu: Press and hold the Control (ctrl) key and the Space(bar). When the menu appears, keep holding the Control key while tapping the Space(bar) to scroll through the menu items. If you’re using this keyboard on a Windows OS, or a Mac OS, you can download free software called Options or Options +, via Logitech’s website. The software is optional. Since I’m using the keyboard with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, and my iPad, I’m unable to download the Logitech software, thus I’m unable to review it.I have experienced three minor issues: (1) When registering my keyboard, it took several attempts before Logitect’s site accepted the registration; (2) The dedicated emoji (F7) key doesn’t work on my iPhone, but it works perfectly on my iPad; (3) There’s an online only user manual.I contacted Logitech’s technicians, both via chat and via phone, and found them excellent to work with.

Updating my review again
Updated Update: It's been working without a hitch now that I disconnected my old Logitech Bluetooth keyboard from the Mac that this new one is now connected to. Everything is fine.Update: the keyboard suddenly stopped being synced to my Mac when waking my computer up from sleep. I am now returning this junk keyboard and looking for a new backlit keyboard that's actually dependable.Old review: The only issue I had was initial connection of MX Keys Mini to my System, but once I figured that out, it was fine afterwards. The device came to me powered on already, which was weird, but it looks and feels new and was sent in the original packaging despite it being a renewed device. I kept holding down the F1 button but it wouldn't flash rapidly as was said it would do on the support page. But I started getting creative and tried holding down the function button and then holding F1 again, and the light start flashing rapidly like it was supposed to do and I was able to connect. The shipping wasn't overnight, but it was definitely a few days faster than advertised. Logitech makes dependable products, and I suggest this one to anyone on a budget that is trying to get a decent backlit keys device for a good price that doesn't mind a minimalist keyboard. The keys are perfect so far, and I am typing this review on the MX Keys Mini device. I am having to adjust to the larger keyboard after upgrading from an even smaller Logi device. Why did I give this a 3 star review? This being a device for typing on at night, I must say that the keys are pretty klacky and loud while typing on it compared to the non-backlit device. The shipping was slower than I would have liked. For an extra $20, I could have bought the full-size device brand new and walked out of the store with it instead of waiting a week for shipping, which is what I might actually do instead of keeping this device, I haven't decided yet. but, overall it's not a bad product, I just think that the price is super expensive for something that leaves much to be desired that isn't even brand new when buying.

Worth it!
With such excellent build quality, it improves the speed, accuracy and comfort of typing. For the last 10 years I’ve used an earlier logi model — and the MX is even better. Not inexpensive, but it’s a terrific keyboard.
