I’m impressed with this pack
I looked for a while for a pack that would met the max carry on requirements. Upon arrival of the item I am impressed with the quality of the fabric and the layout of the pack itself. Shoulder straps seem to be of a high-quality and will be comfortable when carrying it around. I do a lot of two week trips all over the world and only bring a carry-on so functionality, weight and comfort is important to me. Pack has a large interior compartment so you can pack effectively and all of the accessory compartments are well placed to store your belongings in an organized fashion. Clam shell lid is awesome to help with easily finding your item and side straps will be nice when carrying rolled up art, fishing poles and to have a jacket easily available. I was also impressed with how light it is. The only initial review I have for short falls would be I’m not sure a European 1 L water bottles will fit in the side drink pouch, I do wish the lid had a full length undergarment pouch under the others like some options I saw. Also having the ability to expand the pack past carry-on size would be nice as an option. I do bring a personal bag with me and wear my jacket on the plane so the extra space the expansion option would give after landing would be handy to limit the number of items I can carry around on my trip.Heading out on a trip in 2 month and will update review when I return.

Good backpack
This is a nice compact travel backpack I got for my husband. We purchased it since we have plans to travel on Ryan air and apparently they are very strict with bag size. Hopefully this will work. He took it on a domestic business trip and it stowed his laptop and an iPad among other things. It also fit nicely under the seat. The quality is good for the price.

PERFECT for traveling!!!!
I purchased this backpack as I needed one for airlines with very stringent carry on size requirements. All my expectations were met. I needed something that would open completely without me needing to dig in to the bag. It's almost like a mini trunk. It makes it so much easier to go through TSA or security checks as they can just open the bag top and see everything at once. It's light but still durable. I also like that it has the capacity to put your laptop inside and padding to protect it. This is a highly recommend item in my book!

Good for international travel
Went to Italy with this as my carry on. Held up well. Plenty of room and is the right size for travel.

Value for the money!
I have always used checked luggage in the past since my trips last more than a few days; however, I made a recent cross-country trip for one day with my wife and daughter and needed a carry on for Delta. It seems that every carry-on bag that was advertised was actually larger than the 22x14x9 requirement, but this Inateck 42L carry-on bag seemed to meet the criteria. The quality of the construction is good, and it was large enough to pack items for one day for the three of us. The laptop compartment on the back of the bag was very useful. I alternated between carrying it like a briefcase and carrying it on my back as a backpack. Ultimately the backpack carry method was the best. For the price, you really can't beat the quality and useability. I would definitely buy another one if needed. On another note... if you are like me and are looking for your first carry-on luggage, Delta didn't check the size of anyone's bags and every one of the bags I saw people carrying on the plane were larger than the 22x14x9 requirement.

Awesome... awesome... awesome!
Ok... so I have a bad back and use a brace when traveling, especially if I have a backpack on. Just came back from 2 weeks in Italy and used this backpack throughout (streets and stairways of Venice and all). I even had to sprint through the JFK airport with this on my back. I feel perfectly fine after the trip, was able to maneuver around easily with this on my back and was able to stuff it to the brim with clothes, electronics, etc. It is very flexible like a regular backpack since the sides are not sturdy like regular luggage, and the zippers held on for dear life and survived. I also liked the fact that it is not bogged down by compartments that take away needed space. This has been my favorite travel buy recently and will use it from here on out! Great product!

Durable, great price and spaceous. didn't disappoint
I had a bit of an issue last year where all my backpacks have been ripping and bursting at the seams because I overload the living hell out of them. like literally i bought a cheap little backpack from my country's equivalent of walmart, loaded it up and by the time I had gotten to the beach that same day it was already ripping.this backpack so far held up also heavily loaded through a 2 month trip through europe. It was so heavy that one lady who tried to pick up my backpack exclaimed: yeizuz! (jesus!) when she tried to pick it up.so basically, yes this thing will take a beating. and take a lot of weight. i don't think most people haul as much weight on their back as I do so if you're looking to get this thing, rest assured that unless you're carrying enough shit to hurt your back trying to pick up your backpack, it will hold up.

Get this for your next trip!!
Absolutely love this travel backpack. It opens like a suitcase and if you use compression cubes, you can pack a ton! Nice padded back pocket. Comfortable shoulder straps. This fits the United Airlines personal item (as of 2024) and fit under the seat well. Suitcase strap is fantastic for adding to a roller suitcase.
