Still in use 9yrs later
Longest and most reliable controller in my Arsenal. I bought mine nine (9) years ago in 2017 and I still don't have stick drift or janky buttons. I've gone through some different brands including an officially licensed Xbox controller to add some variety and this Logitech controller has by far outlived every one of them. It is still my go to controller the button feel is tight responsive and the analog stick always gives me precise movement. Every game that supports gamepads always recognizes it. The only negative is that it doesn't have a rumble-feature. Beyond that this is the best controller you can buy.I will be buying more

Seamless connection
Might feel weird to hold for the first 20 minutes but overall handles incredibly well and seamlessly, even actual playstation controllers needed software like DS4 to run smoothly but this worked right out the box!Cord length is great too, I can recline and play back from my bed no problemUsed them pretty extensively already and havent experienced any drift, definitely worth the price if you dont want to spend 60 for a brand new ps4/xbox controller

Good first controller after decades away, but I wish I had spent the money to get a better one first
For the money, this Logitech controller is fine. It was a way for me to test out for a while whether or not I would use a controller with my computer.I used the Logitech controller sporadically for a couple of years and it only presented with minor issues that either a little bit of cleaning or simply operating the controls for a bit took care of, like a button that would stick a little until it was cleaned a little or a stick that would drift a little until it was jiggled enough.Comfort-wise, I have fairly large hands and it hasn’t been great for me. Usable, but not great. The controls themselves mostly did fine, but in some emulations I couldn’t get the Logitech to quite do what it should have done while the new Xbox controller I switched to a month ago does those things without any issues.I don’t regret buying the Logitech controller and I think it’s OK for a very occasional gamer, but I should have bought the Xbox controller first and been done with it. I have controllers to use for other tasks than just gaming and the Xbox controller’s ergonomics alone make it worthwhile for me compared to the Logitech. Also, Logitech has mostly forgotten this controller, so that’s a bit of a bummer.

Cost Effective, Thumb Sticks Are Good & Dpad Is Good
I've owned 6-8 of these and I think it's the most cost effective controller for PC gaming. The price is cheap and so I keep one as a backup. Modern games will recognize it. It works with no adjustments on games that have support and for ones that don't have controller support you can program the buttons using xpadder or similar free software. It's excellent for fighting games where controllers will take wear and tear over time. I use the wired version.

It is plug/play, and compatible with Windows 10.
This particular unit does not seem compatible with Windows 10, and is definitely not "plug and play." Looks decent and arrived on time. I can't recommend this controller. Update: After several more attempts, and help from Grandson, this device functions as intended. Controls are easy to use, Windows accepted the controller, and now, this rating is more accurate. Recommend this controller, and will buy again if needed.

Left Thumbstick Issues Hinder an Otherwise Great Controller for PC Gaming
Ah, the venerable Logitech G F310! This is an old controller that they seem to be still making to this day, but because of its age and how cheap it is, problems will start happening. The controller feels great in the hands, the triggers have a really fun springiness to them, shoulder buttons have a satisfying click, directional pad feels good, and the thumbsticks are okay. I've been using this controller for a long time, but after having to go through two of these, it's time to retire this controller. You see, your mileage may vary. If you're a PC gamer like me and play PC games for hours with this controller, it may not even last 4 months until one of the thumbsticks encounters a severe deadzone problem. I have no idea why this happens, but when moving a character forward slightly left or slightly right, the character will either 1. Stop moving 2. Walk instead of run. It especially hurts me when I'm playing Soulslikes. It sucks because this controller is such a great budget option, but I have a feeling you are better served going for a more modern budget option than this old dog that comes from the Windows 7 era. I recommend this controller if you ABSOLUTELY need a cheap budget option, but if you play games that play best with controllers FOR HOURS, expect the left thumbstick to start having problems if you get this controller. I'm sorry, I just like pressing forward hard especially in intense situations within games... and the left thumbstick can't seem to take the pressure. Also, the left thumbstick seems to produce weird dust... almost like friction from pressing forward while turning left or right in games is slowly breaking down the rubber on the thumbstick and the dust might get inside the thumbstick well to cause this problem to occur. I don't know. This is just such a shame because my last one lasted way longer before it decided to have this same thumbstick issue too.
