Programmable LED RC Robot Toys - Interactive 12-inch Tall Dancing and Talking Robot for Kids

My son likes this robot a lot. He likes it repeats what you say to it. The only down side would be it is very easy to change the language. So, as he is hitting buttons, at times it starts speaking Spanish of French on him.

This is an awesome robot! My grandchildren love it (ages 5-8) and I've also used it in library story times with preschoolers. Top Race's Customer Service was fantastic when I lost my instructions - they emailed a copy to me within 2 hours of my phone call requesting help. The robot sings 10 songs and tells 10 stories, in addition to walking, turning, dancing, telling jokes, recording voices, and shooting little rubber discs from the top of its head! Great purchase!

The lil robot was a gift for our almost 4 yr old grandson. He wanted a robot for Christmas and this robot was perfect. The remit control was easy enough to use that he figured it out fairly fast and he especially loved the firing of the disk. He has a Buzz Lightyear about the same size so he lines Buzz up and shoots him with the robot disk. Great robot for littles or fir the older kids as well. Our older G’s were wanting their turn for sure.

I got this for my son for Christmas last year, and he absolutely loves it. He's 5 going on 6, and plays with it every day. The problem is, whatever batteries that were put into this thing are now going dead, and the robot says he's going out of energy and shuts off. I can't figure out where the batteries are located. I opened the back of it where it says usb charging cord, and there aren't any batteries nor is there a cord. I opened its head, no batteries. I unscrewed a part on its side, nothing. I have no clue where this supposed cord is located, nor where batteries should be stored as there isn't a place for them. I don't ever recall even putting batteries into it last year when we purchased it. It's incredible that it has lasted this long. I'm desperate to know how to charge this thing, as my son is devastated that his 'buddy robot' is dying. Someone from TopRace please help! Thank you!

This robot can do so many things and the child we bought it for played with it for a long time. Wonderful toy for a great price!

My son really loves this robot. He loves that he speaks after him and even in German (my son speaks German) and English (it does French too). Unfortunately the disk throwing broke very quickly (see video). The disks get stuck in the robot’s mouth. We bought this during last year’s Black Friday deal and so I think the price was ok but it still would be nice if the disk throwing function would work longer. The robot can do a lot of things like dance, walk etc. my then three year old was able to navigate how to use this easily so I would say it’s appropriate for ages 3 and up.

So my 5 yr old received this for his birthday. Honestly it is really fun and does a million things. He sings, dances, repeats what you say and shoots disks, just to name a few. The only issue we had was upon opening it he would shoot disks because of misplaced wires in his head. I'm positive it is probably just a fluke. I got an immediate response from customer service and a new one should be on its way. I would totally buy this one again and have recommended it to other people.

Extremely poor quality product. Purchased 2, both were defective. Don't waste money, buy something else. The first one we purchased as a Christmas gift from Santa to my daughter. She was very excited to see that Santa brought her a robot as she asked for. It turned out that the Elves didn't do a good job and the robot wasn't able to turn it's head to the right and instead was making weird noises when trying to. So, we replaced it with another one (somehow explaining the kid why Santa's gift turned out to be broken). The second one turned out not able to turn the head to the left! Not only that but the left turn button on the controller would turn the head to the right and the right button would create the same weird noises coming from the robot's head. Of course returning this garbage, but the worst of all is that the Christmas magic was ruined for a little girl, and we needed to find explanations how could Santa allow this to happen.
