The Book of Crypto: The Complete Guide to Understanding Bitcoin, Cryptocurrencies and Digital Assets

There is no better overview of the entire crypto ecosystem than this book. Anyone who is even remotely interested in this industry should be reading this first. And even if you're an industry veteran, guaranteed there are still things you will learn from the book. The author manages to make even complex concepts easily digestible. Thoroughly enjoyable and educational.

The book provides a really good overview that starts with the history of money and how Bitcoin works, covers different crypto currencies and types of crypto assets (including stable coins, CBDCs and NFTs) as well as explains in easy to understand manner difficult topics from DeFi to Web 3. Highly recommend it for anyone looking at working at a crypto firm or interested in the topic!

Covers a lot of ground and history to provide a solid understanding of the basics.A large number of typos, as well as copy/pastes from Henri’s online articles where referencing hasn’t been updated, unfortunately undermines the quality of content slightly. Feels like the book was rushed out without proofing.

Really loved this book. I've started to read more and more about crypto, but feel like an expert after reading The Book of Crypto. There is so much going on in this space, I highly recommend this book for anyone trying to get an end-to-end grasp of the cryptocurrency industry. Also love that the author goes really deep into each topic.Highly recommend reading this book with a highlighter or sticky notes to mark the most interesting parts.

4/5 RatingGiven all the recent news about crypto and crypto investing it's kinda hard to feel good about pouring all your life savings into it. I've discovered when the economy takes a nose dive get rich quick schemes seem to pop up all over the place, hence the Crypto boom of 2020.Obviously this book was written before the FTX scandal and millions of ppl and businesses losing money. Nevertheless crypto is here to stay I believe. Businesses are still beefing up ways to purchase and stay in the game ahead of the curve should something ever break out.This book gives you an overview of what crypto is, how it is used and makes a plea for the reader to get in on it. From the outside looking in it seems like a big Ponzi play. It's interesting how people are viewing this as an investment instead of it's original purpose - currency. I don't know the future but I believe crypto will be in it.. It may not make us rich any time soon but I do feel the Gov't will develop more regulatory actions concerning it.Nevertheless, good read for those interested in learning about digital currency.

I was looking for one book to give me a good understanding of what are cryptocurrencies and this book delivered! Book also has very good graphics! Makes a perfect present for anyone interested in learning about cryptocurrencies. Author also has lots of online courses that I watched on his youtube channel.
