It’s not just for creative people. It’s for everyone. I’d call it a spiritual book with no religion. You don’t have to believe in the concept of god to lead a spiritual life.. practicing being aware will get you there. You just have to be real with yourself first. Thanks Rick, you’ve been a huge inspiration to my spiritual journey.

What a beautiful book! Already its visual appearance and haptic aesthetics are a pleasure. Perfectly produced with love for detail (embossed textile cover, silky bookmark ribbon, off-white smooth paper, crisp text, spacious layout and even blank lined pages for your own notes). Its Zen-like atmosphere sets the right tone for the contemplative, profound and inspiring content. Rick Rubin offers lived wisdom and many insights about art, artists and the process of creating – much food for thought, while clearing away misconceptions and reminding us of the essence of what great art is: a state of being, self-awareness and devotion. I love this book. It is a piece of art in itself as well as a meditation. A fabulous combination. Great as a gift to loved ones or as a coffee table book in your own home or atelier.

A good book . On creativity. Delivery is good .

Musician here . This isn’t an autobiography of Rick Rubin . Instead it’s a wonderful guide for the thought processes one goes through when dealing with a creative endeavour. The book is split up into multiple small chapters so it’s easier to approach and reflect rather than get intimidated by it . A MUST READ !!

This is a great book for not only creatives but anyone and everyone. Really great content to read through.

Muito bom, Rick Rubin é singular!

Perfect cover quality and texture, aesthetically pleasing; and of course the book content, from Rick Rubin it does cover many non-conventional concepts, meaning that its more intuition based and not backed by science, but it is indeed in resonance with the artists mind, some of the concepts are based on perception and how one feels about the surroundings, which helps quite a lot reading it put into words by someone like him. I do highly recommend it, since it's pretty unique in many angles.
