*This goes for almost every product I bought from Amazon that made my dream workstation to reality. I'm not a technical writer so don't bash me for it (I wouldn't even care if you did). I've had this desk for nearly 6 months before writing this review and I just absolutely loved it. Bought it used and shipped by amazon for about $150. Think brand new runs about $240 or something. Who cares, I did save some money because I wanted all the extras to go with this desk [34"5k monitor (34WK95), clamp on monitor adjustable arm (*AmazonBasics Premium Single Monitor Stand), clamp on desk lamp (*Phive LED Lamp) pen organizer mount (*Self Stick Pencil Tray), clamp on surge protector (*Tripp Lite Surge Protector), Desk Clamp Binder Clip, adjustable stool(Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool), and underneath laptop mount(*Mintcraft pipe strap] so yeah, buying all that equipment ran up the price to build my rolling workstation.Buying it used, amazon did mention that it had cosmetic damages which was fine for me because really its mainly the framework I wanted. The desk part did have a few scuffs and chips and not like I couldn't fix it or just build the tabletop to my liking buying the wood from a local hardware store which initially was the plan. It;s not so much a bothersome for me because after 6 months, I still havent changed it and been using it for productivity anyway.Why this crank adjustable over an electric adjustable desk? PRICE is right! The crank is not difficult at all and only takes a few seconds vs an electric with single or dual motor where I would have to worry about the motor going out in the future. (I plan to keep this desk for many many many years). Motor will eventually go out and would have to look for another or fix it yourself. The size of the desk was perfect for portability going through doors from one room to the next while most electric stand up desk have it too wide for it and/or buy the desktop separate.I mainly work from home as I run businesses from home and part of it is graphic designing. Working from home has its pros and cons depending on discipline you are and that discipline can change from time to time. You can easily get lazy or lose focus from distraction because you a re at home thus why I move from master bedroom to another room to family room, to even outside to find my zone or just to wherever I feel like working. I can stand up and sit while working and if I get tired I use the *Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool to rest my butt on it. If I want to work lazy while watching TV in the family room, I can move my desk near the recliner, prop my foot up and pull out the monitor out attached to *Amazon Basic single arm mount and it extends far, high, light, rotate, tilt and everything to move it where I need it to be. Laying down on the bed as well is just the same and adjusting the desk height, easy as a crank.] Even if I have a party at home I can roll my desk out and use my computer as a karaoke system by using youtube (type karaoke before the song), connect my analog mixer (Yamaha MG06X) along with my mics (Shure SM58-LC) and output the sound to my living room system, or my *Altec Lansing ALP-X800 if outside by line in all you need is the cable 3.5 to rca to aux converters. It rocks. To complete my system Im just waiting for soundbar to come down in price or refurbished (preferably the Yamaha MusicCast Bar 400) to attach to my monitor on the mount with *Mount-it Soundbar Bracket and mount the sub on the left side of the foot of my desk opposite of my stool (Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool).All the power is attached to the Tripp Lite Surge Protector, although its only 3 AC plugs I only use 2 mainly for monitor (which charges my macbook pro underneath the desk using just a piece of wood and mounted with *Mintcraft TWC0534-3L Pipe Strap) and 1 for the light. The other will go to my soundbar once I receive it. 2 USB ports will charge my phone, ipad, or my apple pencil. I don’t really need the sound bar since I have 2 homepods, apple express that connects to an old subwoofer, a Sonos Beam just received and can airplay but just want sound with a direct connection since that is limited to my bedroom. I tried to connect the Sonos Beam directly to my macbook pro but 2017 they took out SPDIF stereo out and can’t directly connect to it. I plan on returning the Beam back to bestbuy since it gets out of sync with my music or appleTV and cant justify that price tag. Back to the Tripp Lite, its great because it clamps on my desk with a 10ft cord so I can just plug it anywhere and have the reachability without the cord getting in the way. When I move the desk, I used the *Multifunction Desktop Binder Clamp Clip to roll my power cord and hang on it. I’ve purchased the Bestek Surge Protector and mounted that on my headboard. I love that thing because of the six outlet, 4 USB with one of them on Quickcharge. I was planning to buying another to mount it to this desk but cons of it 1) I would waste the perfect use of my Tripp Lite that’s conveniently place right next to my monitor mount 2) I would probably have to mount it underneath my desk somewhere and make it hard to get to rather that on the top. 3) The cord is 6ft compared to the Tripp Lite’s 10ft and limit my portability of my desk.The cleanliness of my desk (at least most times when working and not like how pictured above lol) goes because of these accessories:*AmazonBasics Premium Single Monitor Stand – Clears desk space and can extend far, up, down, tilt, swivel and rotate to where I need it depending I put the workstation*Tripp Lite 3 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip with Desk Clamp – Its out of the way and stays right next my monitor stand. Cord is long for portability.*Phive LED Lamp – Clamps on to my desk rather than on top of it. I can slide it anywhere, adjust the arms to where I need it (high or low). Has great lighting when I need it and is dimmable to what I want depending on time of day.*Self Stick Pencil Tray – Under Desk Holder Pop-up Pen Strorage Drawer Organizer – I need to use pens and this gets rid of the clutter of having a cup or pen holder on the desk with pens. It just hides underneath my desk and if I need a pen, I just push it in to pop out the storage case. Its mounted just by 3M tape which is very strong and perfect for pens because not a lot of weight to it.*Multifunction Desktop Binder Clamp Clip – I actually have 2. I used to hold my pens in a cup and put that cup on the binder clip. I’ve gon away from it because of the storage pencil above but now use it to perfectly hold my power cord. I hang it from there when moving my desk or clamp the cord underneath it so it gets out of the way.*HyperX Fury S Speed Edition – Pro Gaming Mouse Pad X-Large - This pad is XL and great. It covers my desk perfectly and can move my keyboard and mouse with out needing to move a tiny mouse pad and have my keyboard half on or half off the little pad. And because I move around using this desk, I can just move my keyboard and mouse to any corner or middle of the desk depending on how Im using the desk. I also use it to stash papers underneath.

Fantastic Light!! Exactly what we were looking for when it came to my Wife's needs. Quality construction and design is very solid utilizing mostly metal components. The light housing is plastic, but not cheep feeling either. Easy to install as it's just two pieces. The metal clamp mount, and the arm installs into that. There is a securing "lock" screw which can be tightened down to prevent the arm from swiveling, or you can leave it a little loose so you can swivel it if you want. The swivel radius at the base is limited by channels that catch the screw threads if you go too far. My wife has a very thick work station desk, so it easily can be mounted on a desk that is 2" thick. Absolutely love the multiple points of articulation. You have some swivel room at the mount, and two primary articulation elbows. The light housing can be articulated to a custom position so you can set it at any angle to direct the light how you want (Swivel, Tilt, or Angled). There should be no excuse to not have the light placement and angle exactly as you need!! Beyond that, they provide an "Allen Key" so you can tighten down 2 of the primary articulation points so it will prevent it from moving after you set it in the position you want. It's Bright!! Very bright at it's highest output and lights up the work surface perfectly. My wife is using it for her sewing station, and she needs light above her work area and not impede with the table....Love the "hold n dim" feature so you can set the light level at your preference, and the simple tap-touch to turn it on or off. Not one complaint here. Just hope we get the full 50,000 hrs of LED life...If this lasts the estimated full 5-6 years...that would be brilliant!! Well worth the investment, and would buy again in a heartbeat...This time for myself!!

Excellent desk lamp!PROS:The adjust-ability is amazing! My desk is set up with the base on a top shelf so the light must come down below its base and this worked perfectly as well as the swiveling head. Even the swivel head can 'rock' as well as swivel to keep the light out of your direct eyesight.The light is nice and bright and is a white light. I liked the dimmer settings as well, they were super easy to use, just hold the soft on button and it will dim and then start all over again after turning off.Installation was a breeze, the clamp is high quality and very secure. The arms are sturdy and stay where you put them.CONS:Only two that I can come up with and they are rather trivial! Since it has a soft switch on the lamp arm itself, I can no longer use my smart plug to turn it on with Alexa as I had with my other desk lamp. Hardly an issue. The other is that it does get a little warm with use, not enough to burn you if you touch it but I was surprised with LEDs that it would get warm to the touch. Once again, hardly an issue for me.I would highly recommend this desk lamp to anyone looking at it. It is well built, puts out great light and is highly adjustable.

REACH: My desk is a 3 ft wide door on saw horses. The lamps sits at the back edge and easily reaches over my hooded monitor whose top is 18 inches above the desktop. Because I positioned the lamp just left of the monitor, the arm will go down parallel to the desk and reach out to light a keyboard that sits in front and below desk level. The bulb itself stays nearly parallel to the monitor screen but can b tilts forward, backward up or down. Its reach nd flexibility far exceed the incandescent desk lamp it replaced.LIGHT: The light is very bright and very white. Even though that is fine for my needs, a dimmer and warm light setting would have been excellent and I would have paid extra for them. With the light source positioned about 8" above the monitor, the light is bright and diffused across the surface of the desk for a good foot beyond either side of the monitor. Pulled down low I can point it at copy or the keyboard and tip it so there is no bounce on the monitor screen..MECHANICS: This looks carefully engineers and built to last. It anchors securely to my desk/door and will not come loose. I wish the electric cable was longer. The plug incorporates a transformer. It's not too large, but it would be awkward to go from that to extension cords. The lamp holds its position - does not droop, and looks built to continue doing that. I was surprised to find the power switch only a few inches from the base of the lamp. In fact, there are 2 on/off spots - a switch on the cord that controls power and a button on the lamp that can shut the light off. For men the power switch is hard to reach. I don't know if there is a reason to cut power to the turned off lamp when it is not in use.This is a great lamp. I'd buy it again. The reduction of one star is to make note of features that could ease;ly be added or changed to make it better.

I have brought the PHIVE LK-2 LED desk lamp and use it on my desk, fantastic lamp really(see picture attached, I'll post a detailed review about LK-2 but just gonna use it more as it is over 90 bucks), I like it so much that I want to buy a second one for my office. However wife didn't agree to spend that much on another desk lamp so I did my research, although this Phive CL-2 is not the cheapest one in my cart, I decided to go for it, as my LK-2 works like a charm.Now, I'm glad with my purchase.The lamp is just as beautiful as my LK-2, well designed, aluminum alloy swing arm, perfectly served my purpose of doing research, space-saving bright LED light.It can be dimmed by a touch switch button on top, "stepless dimming" as they called, which is a great feature for me, as I put it near my nightstand, use it as a reading light before sleep. The clamp is well made, as you can see I have it clamped on my window's edge, whole body looks to be stable.All in all, a wonderful product, you got six stars from me.Totally worth the extra pennies to buy a quality product. Great work guys.

I love this lamp! Everything about it is quality...the armature joints are tight...the components are finished professionally and assembled with care. The architect task lamp is even packaged well...ensuring that the lamp will reach the customer in perfect shape. As far as performance, that is tops too. The LED light is bright and dispersed evenly. Dimming is easy and smooth...no problems finding my desired brightness. The best part is that at basically $60, I feel that it was worth every penny. Now, I must admit that I find LED lighting to be somewhat harsh vs the old incandescent lighting. I have a full-spectrum desk lamp also and find it easier on the eyes (over extended periods). So that would be your biggest consideration...do you like LED lighting. Great Product. I liked it so much that I purchased a second lamp as a gift.

I needed a desk light that clamps to the front edge of my desk, has variable levels of brightness, and could easily change positions depending what I was doing at the time. This is exactly the desk lamp that I needed!!!!The long reach allows me to completely swing it out of the way and re-position it if I needed close, intense light.The variable brightness has been my favorite part. I can keep it soft for general reading/writing or make it very bright then I need to see something very small and need some extra light. The single touch control is really nice. Hold to make it bright. Release and hold to make it dim. Tap to turn on and off. Super simple.The desk clamp is very secure. The clamp is more durable than I expected. It's a round on the outside so there are no sharp edges. The thickness of metal improve the stability of the lamp and allows you to clamp down harder on the desk.The lamp has three pivot joints which gives me a huge range of motion. The extra length of each each segment again, gives me the ability to not only cover my entire desk, but also look for items I drop on the floor. Initially, the joints are very stiff. Personally, I like them at at their factory setting, but someone else might want to loosen them up just a little.That's about it. This is a great desk lamp. I highly recommends it.(Please excuse any typos)

Absolutely love this light. It is minimal and slim, adjustable in multiple directions, dims well, looks nice and mounts very sturdy. I purchased two and after 1 year for some reason one of them stopped working. I was so disappointed because I love the light so much, so I emailed them to see what could be done even though the warranty/return window was way past expired. No questions asked they are sending me a replacement. My other light still works great, so this one must have had some defect. I am thrilled to be getting a new one. Will continue to replace with same item in the future if needed since the price is great. I use the light at my art table for painting, and also for perfectly-lit online video conferencing.

The lamp is constructed to a high standard. Although slim in appearance, it is strong enough to survive bumps and getting whacked by books, elbows and the cats. The adjustable brightness delivers what is promised. It has plenty of points to maneuver it to the right angle in the home office, whether I am reading a book, transcribing documents or simply examining items in detail. The light is close to a natural light in warmth, very easy on the eyesight. I can recommend this product without hesitation or qualification.

I recommend. This is the second i've bought, the 1st was good enough to get another for partner. All the pivot joints you need, firm and stable with variable brightness levels through singular touch button. Three colour temperatures ... assuming 3200K, 4500K and 6000K. I gave only 4 star but ... i haven't seen the perfect light offered by anyone ... I would luv a honeycomb grid, as used in photography lamps, to reduce flare onto eyes and screen. Accessory offer perhaps?

While this is a decent enough light it is incredibly poorly designed. The swinging arm mechanism at the base has no way of fixing in place so it cannot stay at an angle - it just swivels back to the default vertical straight position. Incredibly stupid design. Do not buy if you like to move your light over different parts of your drawing.

Just received my order of two of these lamps but the lamps that arrived are not branded PHIVE, they have no brand name, what is the warranty of unbranded lamp?Reading other reviews I find these lamps may fail, and PHIVE do replace, but if they are not branded will they be replaced if they fail?
