Extra Padding

These Reyes gloves are the creme de la creme of boxing gloves! The quality is apparent from your first glance, and it gets better and better the more you try them! The fit is the best of any gloves I have ever owned. I have been buying and using boxing gloves for about forty+ years. I have bought and used examples of every major (and some minor) manufacturers over the years. I have seen the products of once-proud American manufacturers turn into nothing but pathetic junk after moving their facilities overseas in the interest of their bottom line. The products were the same in name only. Sad, very sad. Reyes gloves appear to have not changed anything apparently at any point in their history. Quality is clearly job one with them. They are made for fighters and they are made to be used! These gloves are made with the additional padding (which is much appreciated by we older people with arthritis). They are suitable for heavy bag work, and for sparring. They cost more, but they are the living proof of the old adage, "you get what you pay for". These gloves will last your lifetime, provide the extra protection your hands need (even when you are younger and don't know you need it yet), and will hold up to massive heavy bag workouts. I am ordering another pair just to keep in case the price ever goes up! I'll probably end up passing them (unopened) to my heirs. But, I don't care! If you are a puncher and spend anytime on heavy bag work, do yourself a favor. Spend the extra few dollars and get yourself a pair of these. They are primo! You will not regret it!

Just got mine couple of days ago. When I opened it, the smell of the leather hit me like a punch! I got mine in black, and I love it! Can't wait to use this for my training, and watch my friend drool with envy. The fit by the way is a little snug, but I'm sure once it breaks in, it will be comfortable. I read reviews of people complaining about the thumb positioning, and I don't have any issue with mine. Thank you Cleto Reyes for continuing making such a high quality gloves. This are the best!

Best boxing gloves I’ve ever had

They’re great they feel great. I could barely put them on with hand wraps but after using them for a little bit it’s getting easier, but it’s still a struggle, but they have amazing wrist support, and quality feel

Best boxing gloves I’ve ever owned. The feedback, response and snap are outstanding. Plus they are comfortable and well made. I expect to get many years and rounds from these.

I have man’s hands. Not over sized. Def not small. My hands easily fit in every other glove I own with wraps on. Definitely NOT the case with these gloves. I can hardly get my hands past the wrist of the glove without wraps. With wraps it’s impossible. Once my hand is inside however, it feels perfect. I am hoping these will soften up over the next couple of weeks. If you have Large hands try something else. As for the quality. They appear to be well made and only time will tell.

The gloves came as advertised, and the quality is good, but I cant even get them past my wrist, they are too tight. My gf tried them on and she has small hands and said they were too tight for her. I'm 6'2 220 lbs and there is no way these gloves are made for big hands.
