I'm disappointed because it came broken. I wished they had a way to contact seller directly like ebay so the issue could get solved without having to return product first. There's no way to keep it closed without having to use tape over and over again. I tried to use rubber band to wrap around the broken prongs but it just slid right off the bottom prong. Aside from that, I was pleased with the contents inside. It is a cute little kit and has lots of info about places to fish, different ways to fish, etc. **It didn't explain how to use what's inside though.** I noted that because it might be important to know for some one who's looking to buy this thinking it would teach them step by step instructions.

This is a perfect foundational survival/bug out bag fishing kit for the money, if it weren’t for the case. But the hand reel and leads nearly are worth it. However, it desperately needs additional components. I ordered one and will compare it to another arriving soon. If I prefer this kit, I will buy two more to make (rule of) three BOB fishing kits with the shown components.In the kit I’ve added three size 6, five size 4, five size 2 hooks, and three offset shank worm size 1 hooks, seven size 5 clamp sinkers, three size 3/4 bobbers, five 2” swimming minnow rubber lures, and two spinning lures.To fill out three kits with the shown included, it’s an additional $30.00. That’s three top shelf emergency BOB fishing kits for $60.00 total. Great deal. Needs a better, sturdier clip on the case. I was not being careless when trying to snap it closed. Would pay more for a sturdier case the same size. Regardless, it will be in a Molle bag pouch.

We got this for our 7/y/o to help teach him practical life skills. These little water proof containers are light weight and don’t take up a bunch of space so they are great to throw in to the car, day hiking packs, or just around the house.

Fishing kit, hard laminated cards very handy that come with it. Hook, line, zinc weights, ziplock to hold it all in side a hard plastice carry case that is big pocket sized. All well, recipient thought it was good! thanks so much.

I like the case keeps all my stuff together which is nice. I'm not an expert and had trouble getting a fire started with this kit. I'm not blaming the kit that's on me. I would buy it again and would recommend it.

I was disappointed with the waterproof cards. They didn't tell you what was in the kit or what the items were for. I have never been fishing and still have no idea what to do. The container seems to be good quality, but I would not recommend this to beginners.

The media could not be loaded.  I received the product very fast thats why there's two stars, but as soon as I went to open the water tight container I notice that the plastic clip was cracked on the side where the metal pin is. Even if this piece was not cracked I dont see how this would be a water tight case becuase there is no rubber grommet between the lid and the bottom of the container and there is too much wiggle room between them both to be water tight. To be honest not worth $15 if it's not going to pretect the inner contents from water.

My package arrived in pieces. Sounded like a broken glass before opening. Once I did the package was torn, the container was shattered, the plastic packaging was torn, and the pieces looked tarnished. Very disappointed.

Bought this to add to my b.o.b// inch// emergency bag.It's cute and tidy but I realize I probably should have bought the gear separately.The casing also rattles quite a bit, is larger than necessary and adds unnecessary weight to my b.o.b so I removed the gear from the case.The case is not waterproof or airtight// Havnt found another purpose for it yet.I suppose you could always add more to the case 2 make it a more efficient// or filled emergency travel kit. Ie: snare wire. Tinned bait. Fire starter. etc.

Very flimsy box. Hinge broke on the second attempt to open it rendering it obsolete.Cards were sloppily stapled together. Already one of the cards is dislodged.WASTE OF MONEY

the clip for the cards broke almost right away as soon as we open it to read them. I believe it's over priced.

Wouldn't wanna go Marlin fishing with this kit, but in a scrape this could catch you a decent meal! Live bait it with bugs/worms and remember to feed the line into your opposite hand, like fly fishing, to keep from snapping your line. Use light metal leaders if you're in pike territory.

Card info is too basic. You're better off putting your own kit together. That being said, this is a good incentive to start a mini fishing kit to throw in with emergency hiking items.
