I didn't have a perfect experience, but because some people only look at ...
First off, I would say that this is more of a 3.5 star review at the moment. I'll update this if that changes. The order was delivered on October 12, so 13 days ago. I didn't have a perfect experience, but because some people only look at the negative aspects of reviews, I'm going to say this before going on: Overall, I would likely recommend shopping here. I don't really think that my experience is normal for this shop, especially considering the great condition the other plants are in and the reviews others have written. The price is amazing, even considering the plant that I lost; I looked around locally after making this purchase and was surprised to see how much the mark up can be--six similarly sized air plants here would easily cost $20-30. This is a perfect starter set for somebody who wants low maintenance plants, or for somebody who just wants a few to add to their collection. I'm going to keep Aquatic Arts in mind if I decide I want to put in a larger order in the future.Pros-I really like the selection of air plants that came in this bundle. I was expecting a bunch of tiny plants and was surprised that half of them were about 5-10 inches tall.-The shipping was quick, and the packaging was secure.-The instructions given are very clear, so if you aren't experienced with air plants, just follow them exactly unless you notice something off, in which case ask around or look online before watering again.-This business strongly supports pet adoption (check out the information sheets you get with your order), which is a huge plus for me. The main reason I have air plants is because many common house plants are toxic to cats, but air plants are typically safe if they do end up nibbling on the leaves. I don't know if there's a connection between them supporting animal adoption and selling pet-safe plants, but I appreciate it regardless.ConsI feel weird doing this because I think that it may just be a mistake, but there were a couple of problems with two of the plants I received.-The largest plant came with some sort of rot. I wasn't sure if that's what it was because the bad leaf was in the middle of the plant rather than on the edge, but it was partially cut off, black at the end, and mushy. I didn't want to risk ruining the plant, so I just left it alone and hoped that it would continue to grow. It did not. I've been checking on it to see how it's doing daily or every other day, and just a few moments ago (which is why I'm writing this review now), I noticed that the base of the plant was all starting to get dark and mushy. I removed it from its pot (filled with orchid bark, no water) to check on it. The entire base was mush. I tried removing the outer layer of leaves to confirm, and the bottom just fell off. The most affected leaf is still the one that was black on arrival. I'm not sure if it had been over watered previously and soaking it before planting it just made it worse, but it is currently sitting in my compost bin, beyond repair. Its pot-mate is perfectly fine and probably one of the healthier plants as far as current condition goes, so I don't think it's anything I did.-Another of the plants is very dry. I soaked as directed and have spritzed it occasionally, but about half the length of many of its leaves are dead. It's definitely not beyond hope, but I am disappointed considering the three plants it's been sharing a pot with are also okay.Pics included: Dried out plant (post-soak dry, and post-spritz to better show the condition of the leaves), rotted plant before and after full rot (including the culprit leaf and the detached base), plants in their pots, and a separate photo of the healthy plant that was with the large dead plant. Sorry for the potato quality; my phone doesn't take great photos, and it's later in the evening so lighting is an issue. I think they more or less give a good idea of the order though.

shipped securely
Great packing. Plants arrived with no damage at all. Good variety of plants, although I do wish a couple of them had been just a little bigger.

The best air plants and a wonderful company - Very happy with my air plants
If you're on the fence about buying air plants from Aquatic Arts, read this review and get off the fence. The plants I received from Aquatic Arts got me hooked on air plants. My first order was in October and I did not want to post a review until I got the plants established. Since then, I placed 3 additional orders.Pros1. Size - avg plants were 2-3in wide by 4-6in tall. Some plants were even bigger with a medusa and circunata coming in 8-12 in tall.2. Health and quality of plants3. 30 Day Guarantee4. Assortment of plants - I've received Ionantha (there are at least 3-4 different species), Bailey, Butzi, Caput Medusae, Circinata, Magnusiana, Oaxacana, and Tricolor - from the ones I can identify.5. Price per plant. If you've found air plants at your local nursery or retail box store, you'll find that they cost between $5-25. I've calculated the price per plant (incl the rarer plants) to be between $1.70-2.00 (that's a steal). Shhh, don't tell Aquatic Arts6. Robbie from Aquatic Arts is the man. If you have questions on your plants, he will answer you promptly.Cons1. If I was going to nitpick, I would say that I had a couple of plants die. I think this would be the case for any online sales of plants. But, they do send you a couple of extra plants in case some don't make it. That alone makes up for a couple of plants that perish. This issue is not a deal breaker.2. I wish they had more information on the types of plants that you get. Reason being, some plants require different watering schedules. Some need to be dunked, some need to be soaked, some just needs occasional spritzing. More information on the types of plants (ie name, classification, etc) would be great.I've gifted these plants and people are so happy with them that I will continue to purchase from Aquatic Arts. I've also referred a number of different people and they are happy with their order as well.I purchased an air plant book and also did some online research to get me started and Robbie has provided helpful information as well. Aquatic Arts is an all around great company. They have an adoption program that gives you free air plants if you can provide proof you've recently adopted a pet. What more can you say.

Good variety
All diverse and as expected. I did have one die (not pictured) after a short bit. It was also a different variety. Might have been just shocked from the trip and new environment. I only had 5 holders so I'm contented.

Not exactly as described
Arrived alive in spite of cold weather but only received 5, not 6. And I donโt consider these large. Itโs just a spray bottle, nothing special. Just ok for the price.
