As Advertised, would highly recommend.
Worked great, easy to install and NAS recognized it immediately, cut down my backup times and file transfer times, would highly recommend.

Easy Setup. Great Performance.
Easy setup, just plug it in to the back of the device. It was not recognized after I powered-up the NAS following installation. So I rebooted the NAS. It all came up. Everything is working well. I'm ready to get some fast network action between computers and NAS.

Turbocharge Your 1522+: A Speedy Upgrade with a Luxury Price Tag
TL;DR: Speedy, simple to install, perfect for 1522+, early arrival, pricey, missed initial setup timing, dazzled by 10gbe speeds. Like a knight in shining armor, this gadget swooped in, delivering just the boost my 1522+ needed. Installation was a breeze – it's like this piece of tech was just waiting to click into place, no fuss, no muss. And the speed? It's like jumping from a bicycle to a sports car. The 10gbe speeds are nothing short of exhilarating. But let's address the elephant in the room – the price tag. It's like paying for a gourmet meal when you're used to fast food prices. Yes, it's worth it, but your wallet might need a moment to recover. Adding a twist to the tale, it played hard to get, arriving fashionably late and missing the grand debut at the initial setup. It's like having the perfect dance partner show up after the first few songs. Despite the late entry and the dent in my finances, this upgrade is a game-changer. It's the kind of tech leap that makes you wonder how you ever managed without it. For anyone looking to turbocharge their 1522+, this is your golden ticket – just brace yourself for the price and maybe a bit of a wait.

Nice upgrade for my Synology NAS
It’s a much improved performance compared to the 1Gbit Ethernet that the NAS had. I’m just using it with a 2.5GB Ethernet on my PC. Eventually, when I upgrade my system to 10GB, I will be able to using the full bandwidth of the 10GBE. In the mean time running at 2.5GBE is much faster than the old 1GBE.

A Simple Install
Pretty simple to install and handle like a normal wired rj-45 ethernet connection - all traffic now routed through this interface to a 10gb switch.

There is only one way of getting a better connection to your DS923+. It’s expensive, but at least it is a good solution. I have 3x Seagate Ironwolf and I am getting 280MBps (megabytes, not megabits) maximum. For my case, it is 2.5x faster and it shows on my daily usage. I use the NAS as if it was an external sata SSD. Very useful. Lightroom Classic with a catalog of more than 70.000 images is working fine. So far, I’m completely satisfied with what I’m getting. In the future I’ll use the M2 slots to make a new faster volume and I believe I’ll be able to saturate the 10gbe connection. It will be great for video editing. Note: your computer must have a faster than gigabit network card. Or, do as I did and buy an Asus 10gbe pcie card. This way you can have a subnet just for the 10gbe connection between the computer and the NAS. The existing connection connects to the internet and local network. This saves the money for a 10gbe switch (unless you want the 10gbe between the NAS and more than one computer or a Wi-Fi 6 access point).
