This has been the best Wifi Setup in my whole IT Career. I set this up with 3 other WiFi Mesh and I have NO DEAD SPOTS in my house!

I got this router because my very old one got fried after two consecutive power outages. I purchased this one in hopes that it would provide better coverage/speed because it's rated for a living space that is larger than the one I was living in at the time. Set up was easy with the instructions and app. It is wired (meaning it hooks up to your modem directly) and 'wireless' (meaning it provides wireless Internet to your devices via your Internet provider). I wasn't sure of this when I first read the listing so hopefully this helps a skeptical buyer who's not a tech expert. Anyways it was much faster than my old router was before it died. You can also use parental controls and set up guest wifi from the app. Overall good purchase.

After messing around with other well known brands and having to call in for help with ISP simply to hook up the device, I decided on the Linksys based on it's reviews of ease of hook up. I have used Linksys many years ago when things were more primitive and always had good luck with the brand. We hooked this unit up, followed the instructions and boom, it was functioning. If you are able to read and follow instructions, the set up will be easy like it was for us. Happy with the unit!

Got this to supplement our mesh system, worked out the box! Set up was fast and easy; perfect for our home extended the Wi-Fi to our garage and pasture instantly. We have 4 now and this one fixed the dead spots on our property. Wish I would have bought it sooner. Super fast!
