Easy to use and fits in the scrubs pocket
I am a nurse in a skilled unit periodically we cannot locate or use a regular thermometer. This is very helpful and I can carry it in my scrubs which makes it even better.

Easy to use thermometer
I purchased this on the recommendation of a friend and it is definitely easy to use. I'm not 100 % sure of the accuracy, though, so I started using and pointing it on my forehead (as indicated in the directions), and then I would follow up with pointing it at my temples too. This was the recommendation of my friend who suggested the purchase.

Not A Great Product
As a home health nurse, I must use reliable equipment. After day 3, the cover to the battery compartment would not stay on. Instead of going to the trouble of making a return, I put a piece of duct tape around the base to hold it together. A more recent issue is that the digital number readout only displays on the bottom half of the screen, so it is very difficult to read. Needless to say, I am disappointed.

Batteries
I put the batteries in thermometer and they were dead I replaced them with a new set and it worked. It came with expired batteries
