Ok but not practical
It works ok, but the clip was not big enough to hold a 1/2" shaft, so I replaced it with a bigger clip. The first cable to the connector is ridiculously small, so I had to replace that as well. The thickness did not seem consistent at first and was slightly more than 20mm, but it was actually because the metal plate was not fully pushed through the plastic part.
