Beware - no/poor instructions. But otherwise a great product. You need to keep your top tail light led insert, and hack into the reverse light wire (blue and white on ~2011 sprinters). Very clear picture for the price. The field of view is good for backing up into parks, or hitching trailers, but is too narrow to use as a rear view. This is an essential safety device for any sprinter owner in my opinion.

I give this product 4 out of 5 stars only because the guidance bracket inside the camera is not properly lined up with the camera angle. Mine angles downward instead of flat on the ground. I now wish I would not have waited to install after the 30 day return window. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated. Aside from that issue the camera view is excellent.

Being forced to write anything here is a pain in the ass. Just go with the stars and be happy with that.

Fit perfect on my 2011 Mercedes sprinter

Installed this on a 2016 Sprinter. The bad: no instructions of any kind whatsoever. The good: this camera works great. Came with 3M gasket. This one reuses the stock LED brake lamps, which is good as it keeps the factory resistance and current draw exactly the same. I researched many cameras for this application and this one is a nice blend of quality and value. It is a backup camera, and not appropriate for a rear view camera as it only sees up to about 25 feet behind the van. Perfect for backing out of parking stalls but not substituting for a rear view mirror. This would work well if trying to attach your trailer.Update: after about a year of using it, the camera still works great.

You pop out the old LED lights from your van, you pop them into this and put this back into your van. You have to run power to the camera and a signal line to the monitor. I did it off a keyed fuse under the seat. Depending on how much interior trim you have depends on if it's a 2 or 6 beer job.I ordered it with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074XVNH95/ and wired them both together.This is not hard to install, but certainly not trivial either.

I bought this several months ago and installed it using a cheap dashboard monitor. Right away it was clear the color was way off - everything green (bushes, trees) was bright magenta. Unfortunately the time period for return had passed and since I wasn't sure if the camera or the monitor was at fault, I just lived with it. Now I have installed a nice new Kenwood stereo and the color problem is the same, so the camera is indeed the problem.
