I ordered these for my office to help cut down on one-use plastics. I love how these forks are biodegradable/compostable. And they are sturdier than most regular plastic forks! 10/10 recommend.

These are much more sturdy than your cheapo plastic spoons. Either one has their purpose, it's just that for an ice cream social I needed something that wouldn't break while people tried to eat their ice cream. This worked great. And...since they say compostable on the spoon handle, I didn't have the naysayers saying we shouldn't have had an ice cream social with plastic. Say what??? Maybe they wanted to wash everything.

I have used two types of compostable “silverware.” This green product is more affordable than the other I used. It is sturdy and these knives cut everything (including cooked meat) on your dinner plate without breaking. You can even wash them with soap and running water for reuse without them breaking down.

For these to be compostable they are really sturdy. I did snap a few here and there but nbd. Overall they are wonderful and don’t have a weird compostable texture.

I didn't give these 5 stars because they are just a little bit on the flimsy side. So, their sturdiness could use a little work.BUT I love that they are compostable which has made it so we have purchased this regularly.No, they do not hold up to hard pressure (imagine pushing down with a fork on a tough piece of meat) but for soups, regular cooked veggies, etc they work flawlessly.Considering the fact that these provide relief for landfills, I think they are great. It's a product that is well on it's way to doing wonderful things and I expect it to just keep getting better and better.

I’ve tried most model plastic spoons and this is the best. Most of the bigger companies like Dixie have completely changed their teaspoon shape over the years and morphed into an unusual shape design. These Greenworks are the best. Highly recommended.

I just love that they're biodegradable and we haven't had any problems with them breaking.
