Excellent Wi-Fi 6 Range Extender – Seamless Coverage and Speed!
I recently purchased the TP-Link AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Range Extender (model RE715X), and I’m extremely satisfied with its performance. From the moment I unboxed it, the setup was incredibly easy — it took only a few minutes to get everything connected and running using the TP-Link Tether app.Pros:* **Blazing Fast Speeds:** The dual-band support (5 GHz up to 2402 Mbps and 2.4 GHz up to 574 Mbps) provides excellent speed and coverage throughout my home. Streaming in 4K, online gaming, and large file downloads are now completely seamless.* **Wi-Fi Dead-Zone Killer:** This extender truly eliminates dead zones. I used to have weak signals in the basement and upstairs bedrooms, but now the signal is strong and reliable in every corner of the house.* **Wi-Fi 6 Support:** The latest Wi-Fi 6 technology ensures a future-proof network with better efficiency, especially when multiple devices are connected.* **OneMesh Compatibility:** If you have a TP-Link router that supports OneMesh, this extender integrates beautifully into your existing network for seamless roaming.* **Great Design:** The sleek and modern look with external antennas also helps in better signal strength and blends in well with home decor.Cons:So far, none. It performs exactly as advertised and exceeds expectations.Final Thoughts:If you’re looking to extend your Wi-Fi coverage without sacrificing speed or reliability, the TP-Link RE715X is a top-tier choice. It works with any Wi-Fi router and brings excellent value with the benefits of Wi-Fi 6. Highly recommended!

4th times the charm!
This is my 4th extender. The first 2 were inexpensive, with the second also being a TP-Link (model AX3000). That one was hit or miss and it drove me crazy when it dropped. So I bought a NetGear EX6250, which was even worse!! So I decided to go back to a TP-Link and just up the quality (and the price), and ended up with this one, which I got a good price on because it was an Amazon refurbished offer. It works fantastic! No more drops! It was relatively easy to hook up, although I had to reset it a couple times (there’s a small hole you push a paper clip into) before I finally got it to connect to my wi-fi. I already had the TPLink app downloaded from my previous one, which helped with the set up.One thing I will say is this is MUCH BIGGER than the previous models I”d purchased, and it takes up a good part of the area on the back of my battery back up/power conditioner. It has some cool looking blue lights on it.It says on the box that it’s made in Vietnam. However, many of the products that say that are actually made in Communist China and retagged in Vietnam to hide the origin, so it could be either one. The box also says it’s made for TPLink USA out of California.

Works fine but be prepared to be frustrated by the installation collateral.
The device seems to work fine but setup is obnoxious. The Tether app is close to useless and very slow so I'd recommend the manual or website installation instead. The quick-start collateral was also badly written and awkward to follow. The good thing is that if you push through the AI support line to a real live person, the support is superb. I spoke with Anjanette and she was outstanding. Note that the device is listed as an AX-3000 but it actually has a different identifier on the TP-Link website and on the software -- RE715X. WTH? However, once installed it works fine. One star lost for stupid installation documentation and an app that doesn't work well.

Easy to install - working within minutes!
Super easy installation via the app- just follow the directions and BOOM! Instant amazing signal! I had the xfinity pods for years and when we upgraded our gateway with them the pods stopped working- they claim they “should still work” but nope- nada-nothing and they wouldn’t replace them. So to Amazon I came and reviewed the best extender- this is what I found and I am NOT disappointed! The only “con” is that it is VERY heavy/ large- bigger than I thought and the outlet I have it in is older and needs replaced so I did have toPlug it in upside down so it doesn’t fall out of the outlet- but it still works great. It will take up an entire outlet- just an FYI- so be prepared for that.Signal strength- 100%- speed- so far so good- ease of use- SUPER easy to install:1) download app2) make an account- and verify it3) plug in extender near existing router4) wait until you see a solid LED light5) relocate the extender6) connect it to your existing WiFi in the app7) DONE!I hope you find this helpful! You won’t be disappointed!

Installed it as a wired access point and it works great
I decided to use this as an access point instead of a range extender, especially since I had a fairly easy way to run an ethernet cable from my router to the planned installation point (former chimney space with chimney removed makes it easy to go from basement to attic). A little bit of a hassle doing the setup (lots of advice on internet, some better than others) but eventually got it set up properly. Plugged it in, and presto! Excellent coverage throughout the entire 2nd floor of our house, not to mention all of our yard and part way down the alley. Nice! For those not familiar with the access point method, you connect to this device in its installation location wired via ethernet cable instead of wireless as you would with the range extender method. And since wired connectivity will always provide better results, it was worth the extra effort to me. So if you have a way to run an ethernet cable from your router to this device in its installation location, you might like to research and consider it.

Works Great
Absolutely worth what I paid for it. I work remotely, and I'd been having terrible video call quality, which was was causing major problems. I've had no problems since setting this up. Call quality is clear, and I can run internet searches in the background without issue. It was a little more difficult to set up that I'd hoped, but that's probably just because I was trying to do it in a rush before my next meeting. I was able to go from unboxing to using the extender in 5-10 minutes.
