This is an excellent kit for someone just starting or getting into needle felting. I was impressed with the quality of the items for the price, and the carry case is very handy.

The pack includes all the tools I needed to start needle felting. Good quality and fun to ise

The felting foam pad that comes with this set is really useful to lean on and to use for flattening out felt with the multi needle tool. The individual needles fit reasonably well into the single handle but are prone to slipping down inside after a while, so may need to be re adjusted with the cardboard wedge. The needles don't seem particularly sharp compared to the free one I got from a needle felting class, but they do the job for a beginner. I would have liked the multi needle tool to have a retracting handle mechanism (which reduces pressure on the wrist, like I had in my needle felt class) but this one does not. The hole punching tool took quite a bit of pressure to make eye holes which may be easier if sharper. The scissors are great, and are by far the sharpest tool in this kit. The finger protectors are in 2 sizes so fit an average female sized fore finger and a thumb comfortably and are extremely useful. This is good value for a beginner but basic.

Needed to order some new needles but so glad I decided to spend more and buy this kit - plenty of needles, really nice wooden needle holders, and the leather finger guards and woollen felting mat are absolute game changers. Plus extras, all good quality, and all packed in a very nice cardboard box - am trying to avoid plastic these days. Very pleased. love the set.
