BrosTrend USB WiFi 6 Dongle Long Range 1800Mbps, AX1800 USB WiFi Dongle for PC, Wireless DualThis dongle is a bit different to others I have used in that it has a built-in memory card which contains the driver software.Contrary to some other reviews I found this very easy to install. A quickstart card in various languages is included that helps with installation which took no more than 5 minutes. Card is shown in one of the pictures.It comes with quite a thick cable about 1m long and isn’t very flexible, this has a USB-A on one end and a Micro-B-Superspeed connector on the other end. The dongle is just about heavy enough to resist the inflexibility of the cable but could probably do with a little extra weight or a sticky pad to hold it down.The unit has two high gain antennas that can be rotated through 180° in one direction and 90° in the other.This dongle picked up many more Wi-Fi signals than before, more than with my other Wi-Fi dongles so must be able to connect to other houses some distance away (although of course I did not attemt to do so but shows how it can connect to distant roters very easily).So in conclusion: Very easy to setup, fast speed & long range.,extremely good signal quality.

Great WiFi after connection. I received around 659mb before I had 155 max. Easy to instal driver I took from the website works great with Win 11

When it works it’s very fast, initially it was totally unreliable. The driver crashed my PC (Windows 11) even using the driver from Brostrend website. Since my original scathing review I have re-installed my Windows 11 operating system. Although this adapter is not “plug & play” and the driver is not an approved one by Microsoft, it does now seem to work. Ensure you remove any old adapter drivers off your PC. It may be why mine worked after the reinstalled Windows (bit of a pain re loading all your apps and programs). Anyway I’m getting very fast WIFI 6 speeds now. Obviously you need a WIFI 6 router.

Bought to try to boost the signal between my laptop & the router. After multiple tests, also using speedtest.net I found it has almost no effect. Infact, the only way I could tell if it worked at all was to put clingfilm round it and saw the signal was infact lost! If I hold my laptop up, it gets 2 bars, however the lead is not quite a metre long, so don't waste your money. Get something that works, like a mesh network or plug in wifi extender. That is what I will now do. Total rubbish!Turns out, for actual pc's you might need this but don't buy if you have a laptop. I ordered a mesh router........

Turned up as stated. Easy to install. Simple to follow on screen prompts. Once I got this up and running, it opened up the WiFi speed significantly! I was previously using a small WiFi usb stick, which kept saying it would take 6-7 hours to download 22gb, which kept going off every couple of minutes, as soon as I put this product on, that time limit dropped to 20mins! You could see the difference on the download bar. Great quality, excellent value in my opinion and functional. Does what it says is going to do.

An immediate improvement in my WiFi reception. Easily installed P&P. Good value for money.

Good quality and speed from this reciever but can be drop out on occasion.

Happy with this. Put it USB and, after loading the drivers, it worked fine.My office is one floor away from the router so impressed.
