I bought these because someone told me that they were a cure for “Restless Legs”. I suffered from this problem for years, I would be sitting watching the TV when my legs started feeling restless and I couldn’t keep them still and had to get up and walk about to make them feel better. This would also happen when lying in bed. I couldn’t keep my legs still. This also kept my husband awake. However, someone told me to try Magnesium citrate and ‘it worked’. I was so thrilled to have a good night of sleep. I can now also sit down with my friends to watch the TV without having to get up and walk around because I couldn’t keep my legs still.

I take a magnesium supplement every day as it helps with so many things. It eases constipation, helps me sleep better when taken before bedtime, even helps with anxiety. This Solgar Magnesium citrate has a qood absorbancy. You just need to adjust the dose if it's acting as a laxative and you don't need this effect.The only negative thing about this particular Solgar magnesium supplement is the size and shape of the pills. They are quite large and have a chalky rough surface. You have to keep it in mind if you have a problem swallowing large pills. They could be cut though if you don't mind the extra work.Hope it helps.

Lovely but it’s kind of big

I’ve been struggling with predmenstrual symptoms for years now, because of my history of hormonal disbalance, few vital vitamins defficiency etc.✅So two weeks of the month I was fine, two weeks were horrible.✅First it was the bloating, like.. one day you are fine, your tummy is flat, the next day you wake up bloated. By the time my period comes I looked like I gained 10 pounds. Nobody believed me at first that I don’t gain weight, that’s water retention. Few days after my period I shrink like crazy.✅Let alone my mood was .......... I have tried loads of things to help with poor quality sleep - nothing worked without making me feel lousy the next day. These work! Since beginning to take them (though I only take half the dose and only every other day) I have been sleeping longer and better. Success! I suppose I ought to mention that they are rather big, but fine with a spoonful of kefir or yoghurt which helps them to slide down. Also, they can have a bit of an unfortunate effect at the suggested dose - bit like prunes... It is still worth it to sleep so much better!

I bought Solgar vitamins and they didn't have the original foil on the bottle like in the Holland Barrett store! I wonder if it's original because it's very strange!
