ELEGOO UNO Project Basic Starter Kit with Tutorial and UNO R3 Board Compatible with Arduino IDE for Beginner

This an excellent pack to start with. Having not used C++ for a long time it took some getting back into. The components are good quality and the instructions are easy to understand. The only let down is the poor quality bread board. I have been using bread boards in industry and there are much better ones available. Could have been 5 stars all round except for that.

Honestly this kit is amazing for beginners. I have a small background in electronics and have done a couple of projects with the raspberry pi which I completed successfully but I was only copying someones instructions. This kit teaches you how to assemble a range of different projects but it also importantly teaches you why it works.

I bought this for my partner as a Christmas present and overall he's been very pleased with it. He's confirmed that the parts all seem to be good quality and that it's a good value for money kit. Things like the resistors being properly labelled have definitely been appreciated. He's been working through some of the online tutorials (They can be found very easily online) and been enjoying the kit a lot. The one disappointment was that it all came in a card board box rather than the plastic container. On checking, I did notice that there's now an image that says either the plastic box or the cardboard one are sent randomly, I didn't spot this when I made the order. The cardboard box is barely big enough to get every thing back in once you've been using it and has started to tear after a few uses necessitating the need to buy another organiser box to keep it all in. This is the reason for not giving a 5 start rating and to be honest, if I could have given a 3 1/2 start rating I would have done.

Good product product for learning

This just a learning tool for me. This review is from a personal view and not an experience one. I am just trying my hand at various activity and I found this interesting and enjoyable. I wanted to make something that has a use albeit a limited one, but I have since found out these units are very versatile, so I have more learning to do. I have since purchased a book on how to program these units.

Works great for my college project, I am using this UNO R3 microcontroller to make a digital clock using Arduino to code the system, this works great and includes a breadboard, all the wires, extenders, and resistors that you need. it was instantly recognized when connected to my laptop on Arduino IDE, 10/10, would recommend.

Well packed and delivered early a good piece of kit for anybody who's interested in this type of hobby recommended to anybody wants to use this kind of thing

Geliefert wird hier: * Super günstiger Arduino Uno Klon (nicht das Original, aber völlig baugleich!) * Im Set mit ein wenig Zubehör zum Starten * Eine CD ist mit dabei mit der notwendigen Software und einer Anleitung zum starten. Diese ist offensichtlich automatisch aus dem chinesischen übersetzt, aber die Qualität ist soweit OK, dass man ganz gut damit leben kann. * Das ganze wird ein einer durchsichtigen Kunststoff-Box geliefert. Die Box ist recht klein, wenn alles einmal ausgepackt ist bekommt man die Sachen kaum wieder rein. Aber bei dem Preis kann man über sowas wirklich nicht meckern. Das Ganze wird - zu einem top Preis (knapp 18 Euro und somit ein Stück weniger als der originale Arduino Uno ohne Zubehör), - sehr schnell geliefert und - ist (zumindest bei mir und soweit derzeit getestet) alles funktionsfähig und in Ordnung. Ich habe mir parallel zu diesem Starter Kit auch das 37-in-1 Sensormodul Kit (auch von Elegoo) zu einem Angebotspreis sehr günstig dazugekauft, denn nur mit dem Starterkit alleine kann man wirklich kaum etwas anfangen. Der Name "Basic Starter Kit" ist somit gerechtfertigt. Gemeinsam mit dem Sensorset hat man dann aber ein umfassendes Spielfeld zum ausprobieren von nahezu allem. Bei mir hat beides gemeinsam dann keine 40 Euro gekostet (Wahnsinn!). Also alles in Allem eine wirklich gute Investition für das erste hineinschnuppern in die Welt der Microcontroller.
