Best engineer/crafter's scissors you're ever likely to encounter
Absolutely Nothing to dislike at allPractical scissors with 14 different uses that I've found so far.The capacities and options are clearly stated in the packaging ,with photos and description in Japanese & English. It has, to mention just a few positive features ;virtually indestructible handles, multiple gripping options, blade edges& hardness value etched onto the face of the shears etc . etc. the list goes on.I have previously bought 3 others for myself and family members. The ease of cutting hard plastics, thick cardboard etc is very satisfyingAs someone with industrial guillotine technicaI expertise, I can fully appreciate this product.Highly recommended, please check product is the suitablefor your own requirements, this one is heavier duty than e.g. kitchen scissors

Excellent
Very strong scissors capable of cutting through tough material. Handy to use alongside my Draper wire strippers when rewiring plugs.

Bad at multiple functions, great as scissors
This was an impulse buy, but I am very happy with them. They are sharp and more importantly can and do take an edge with sharpening. The handle is surprisingly strong and not at all flimsy as one of the other reviewers stated. The sheath is just OK, it is a little flimsy and loses grip after a few uses, but its plastic so not unexpected. The 4 in 1 claim is stretching it a bit, it does cut leather hide up to 4mm with ease, wire upto 4mm coax but it really does depend on the material. The images show a person using both hands to brace with thicker items, this should really tell you all you need to know about how capable these are with thick materials. In my opinion, if you want strong, long lasting pair of scissors then these are for you, but don't get them to replace or combine wire cutters/strippers. Stick to individual tools.

They feel quality, they look great and cut really easily
I did initially think the handle was black but it arrived green, doesn’t matter, still an amazing set of scissors. These things cut through my old driving license with such ease I snipped myself too. Clean cut, no pain initially, they are that sharp. They have a rather helpful bit on the back of one of the blades to open packages too, no more using a kitchen knife and nearly going through myself in the process too. They feel quality, they look great and I still haven’t used them for what I bought them for because I don’t want to damage them.

Essential for First Aid Kit
Very sharp. Very strong.I replaced the cheap junk shears in my FAK after discovering how useless they were, whilst trying to cut someone's long-haired dog free from brambles. This is not the situation you want to be in when you find out that your kit is junk. These replacements really are worth the money. The blade protection fits with a nice click and enough force so it doesn't fall off. The grips are sturdy and allow you to apply a lot of force - useful if you need to cut through brambles as thick as your thumb, or boot leather or very heavy cordura. Obviously there is no "guard" as with first aid snips, so caution needed if cutting tight clothing away from skin, and especially since the one scissor blade is semi-sharpened on the outside - good for splitting parcel tape - but so is a key.The serrations at the inside of the scissors work well to grip the thing being cut, so the force is applied directly to cutting, rather than the item sliding forwards out of the jaws as would be the case if there were no serrations. Great quality.

A Toolbox Essential!
The handles of these scissors look as though they've escaped from Star Wars or Transformers, as they have lots of interesting but ultimately unnecessary moulding details. That does not however detract in any way from the brilliant design - the over-sized finger openings make them easy and effective to use, and you can just feel their quality. Versatility is their biggest plus point, and there isn't much that these beauties won't cut. A toolbox essential, I think

Shears - lost in translation
As a professional engineer these are really shears rather than scissors. The blades are short, serrated and strong, but the jaw opening size is small. These are perfect for all the short distance, rough cutting jobs associated with an Electricians trade and compare exceptionally well with those marketed for that purpose. However, these are not, for the reasons stated above, good as general purpose, precision or DIY scissors noting that ENGINEER make specific models for those purposes. If you need to cut very short strips of rubber, plastic, cable insulation, vinyl, foam sheet or leather these are perfect, but I would not use them for a precision cut beyond 10cm - choose another model!
