Paladin Roleplaying Silver Metal DnD Dice - Full Polyhedral Set - In Presentation Case

I was looking to treat myself to a set of metal dice and I spent a long time looking at options, as money is tight at the moment. I eventually settled on these, as they had glowing reviews about customer service but also the dice themselves. The description also sounded great.They arrived promptly, as you come to expect with Amazon Prime items. The packaging and presentation is nice, with the tin and the back these go into. My tin did arrive with a couple of dents in but nothing major, and I wasn't so bothered about the tin.The dice themselves are really nice - lovely weight to them, however there are a few things I was a bit disappointed with:1. The first thing I noticed is that these dice, though obviously still metal, are given their final finish with some sort of heavy duty lacquer/paint. This wasn't something I saw mentioned in the description. It gives a very different finish to actual metal, more glossy. This probably won't bother most people, however I was quite keen to have a really metal finish/feel.2. I may have just been unlucky with my set, but because of the outside coating, there are a number of small blemishes. Some edges have a bit of a ridge where the coating built up, others have small dents or chips in the finish. I'm sure it's a very hard-wearing finish, as the listing says, however that doesn't help if it arrives with chips or dents in.3. Some of the edges on my d20 are nice and defined whilst others are noticeably flattened. As well as potentially impacting the fairness of a roll, this really affects the aesthetic of the dice, which matters to me as I hoped to display them on my desk.Overall, I may have had a lemon but these weren't quite as great quality as the listing and reviews had led me to expect. These are still quite nice dice and if you're not too much of a perfectionist then you'll love the weight and feel of them.

Dice look good and no issue with quality. D20 regular size. D12, D10, D4 a little smaller. D8, D6 noticeably smaller than regular dice. Not tiny buy not standard size for RPG set. Perfectly useable although metal dice tend to land heavy and not move because of the weight so the less round ones are less useful in general.I would say these are slightly overpriced and the metal tin is an unnecessary addition to cost (and came dented as they always seem to do for some reason). Still reasonably happy with purchase.

I bought these as a gift for one of my players and was delighted by the quality and finish. The dice are not just well finished, but have a nice weight to them too, giving the whole set a premium feel above and beyond their price.The presentation case is decent--probably slightly less premium feeling than the dice themselves. But, it's well finished and holds the dice securely during transit, so I can't really complain.

I was happy with these until they started to peel. Bought November 2018

Spent a long time looking for the right metal dice after playing with a friends and loving the weight and feel of them. After much debate I settled on the Silver dice from Paladin, and have not (despite the odd critical fail) regretted it one bit!I got the set in the metal presentation case, which is itself contained in a good quality soft draw string bag. The pressed steel case has a good quality foam insert with spaces for all the dice that stop them from bashing against each other as if they were loose in a bag.The dice themselves are very well made with no imperfections and good clear numbers etched slightly into the surface before painting. The overall finish on them is a nice brushed metal that coupled to a weight that is gram perfect provides a really good feeling in the hand.The balance is also extremely good, I've read a lot of reviews of other dice complaining about them being badly balanced, I can't complain about any of this set at all. Every dice roles well with a satisfying sound in the dice tray - which is a must with these, otherwise you might as well say goodbye to your table as they make quite an impact...Overall awesome dice and I would truly recommend them.

I had written a review a little while ago stating that although the dice looked nice, there appeared to be a number of marks on them which indicated that they may have received prior use and were not to the quality i would've expected of the price but can i just say how brilliant the customer service is, with a special shout out to Neil. The set has been replaced and upon inspection they are flawless. a really high quality product with not a single mark on them which i am sure will last the test of time. Thank you to Neil and Paladin roleplaying for not only a high quality product, but outstanding customer service. 10/10.

I love this set of dice. I regularly play D&D with my children. It was son who got us all into playing. He bought a set of cheap enough dice but I didn't like the ones I was using, cheap and plastic. I wasn't rolling great whilst battling those pesky dwarf so I scrolled on Amazon for a new set.When I landed on these my eyes lit up, the bronze were for me! I'm so glad I bought them. They look and feel great, a nice bit of weight to them plus I seem to be rolling better and eliminating dwarfs hee hee.I am the envy of my children lol, they want a set too and santa shall deliver.D&D is just so much fun to play with your children, friends, family members. I love the role playing and our characters have really developed throughout each chapter we play. It's a great bonding experience and really draws out the imagination. My latest character is one of the photos I've included.I would highly recommend these dice and Neil seems lovely. He sent me a nice email to make sure I was happy with them.
