Virgin Media TiVo Remote 100% Genuine, WITH 2 X AA BATTERIES INCLUDED

I bought the remote as a replacement for my original remote for my Tivo box. To be honest, although it was described as 100% genuine, for the price I was a bit doubtful and expected a lighweight, cheap version. How wrong could I be? It is exactly the same as my original remote i.e. size, weight, layout of buttons and has Virgin logo so I am satisfied that it is a genuine Virgin product. It worked straight away and I would definitely recommend it as a replacement. One very satisfied customer! A quick update.....I hadn't realised that the mute and volume functions didn't work as I always used a separate tv remote for this, however I discovered this as I was scrolling through some past reviews and some of them included instructions on how to get the functions working. Followed the instructions and hey presto, mute and volume functions now work and very easy to do.

Takes a week but works perfectly, arrived with 2 AA Duracell batteries

The remote was really good, exactly what I wanted. the only issue that I had was that on the advert it said that there would be 2 batteries included but there wasn't when it arrived. The 2 batteries were very prominent in the advert and I didn't click on the details where it did say there were no batteries included. so the advert was a bit confusing and not very clear. apart from that the remote worked perfectly and I am very happy with it.

Needed a new one after buttons on old one were playing up, not bad for 9 yrs old. Ordered one it worked straight away no programming it in. The only thing the volume didn't work but it didn't work on the original one either. So well Happy.

Came with batteries which I’d forgotten about, so that was a bonus. This was a replacement remote for my mum. Her old one didn’t want to register with anything, checked battery life, buttons etc and then bought this. Game changer, good price, the same remote as my mums previous one and came batteries, very happy

I was sceptical when I opened my package as the buttons on the remote were only partially visible and looked either very worn or not printed properly. When I put batteries in the remote did not work at all, tried different batteries but still nothing. Remote has been returned and I am awaiting a refund. Extremely disappointed Update. Rang. Virgin on 150 (free on virgin phone line) They have an option for remote control problems 20 mins later new remote control sorted free of change to be delivered by Royal Mail !

Perfect. My original remote, which was over 15 years old had become ineffective and the box did not respond to pressing various buttons unless they were held down hard for a few seconds. The new remote came with batteries and worked like a dream straight out of the cellophane.
