Julien Farel Calm Elixir

I'm not sure what this product is supposed to accomplish. I put it on my hair after my shower, combed it through to evenly distribute it, blow dried it and during the day when things got hot and sweaty it looked like I had a sweaty head only where the product was. someone asked if I went to get my roots dyed. It's been too long, so I can't return it. Really bummed with this product.I love the all in one shampoo/conditioner replacement from Julien Farel. It works as expected. Leaves hair soft and full of life. It would be nice if they offered discounts on this product.

I love the other products I have from this company. This one I'm very disappointed in. First my top was not as shown here it was just a cap. I had to change it using one from my other products. Second I have used it now a few times and I don't see or feel any result. To me it's not worth the price the other products are so much better.

Fantastic! Really works! Especially when winter cold dries out my scalp and makes it itch.

I have chronic dry scalp which leads to dandruff and extensive itchiness. Because my head itches and feels uncomfortable, I end up having to wash my hair everyday which leads to an even drier scalp. It's a never-ending cycle. Some shampoos and conditioners have helped somewhat with this problem, but after discovering this product, I wonder why I didn't try this in the first place. Julien Farel's Calm Elixir has really helped with the itchiness and has reduced the dandruff generated. The fact that it protects my hair from UV and other outside factors is a giant plus as well. I'm not a fan of wearing hats and I've noticed my hair turning brown to the sun exposure. This elixir really does help relieve the negative effects of outside exposure on your scalp and hair. It has a lightweight formula that doesn't make your head or hair feel bogged down and heavy.However, I'm not the biggest fan of the packaging and the narrow applicator tip. I've taken to transferring the product into a small squirt bottle where I can spray it across my scalp and then rub it in more easily. I suggest a more user-friendly bottle and application format, but I love the product itself. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I have been coloring my hair for years (trying to cover a little grey here and there) and I know it is hard not only on my hair but my scalp. I never had an issue with my scalp until the last year and now it is itchy (although I don't see dandruf). I have tried a lot of different shampoos and conditioners to help my hair but honestly didn't think there was anything out there for my scalp. When I got this product I thought I would give it a try and but didn't really expect much, surprise! Since I started using the Calm Elixir I have noticed my scalp doesn't itch as much. I am not sure why it works but I am sure glad that it does. My scalp and my hair feel better! My hair feels smoother, my scalp doesn't itch and it hasn't faded the my color. Yay! This is a "leave in" type of product. The applicator helps direct the product to the scalp and you just massage in and leave it. Very simple to use and doesn't take a lot either.
