Pratt and HartMen's Deerskin Winter Gloves with Thinsulate Lining

I was unsure when I ordered these because of the fit guides with the various brands of gloves. I hope that by paying for a more quality glove that it would fit more true and this pair definitely does. I have short fingers, and these fit very well.

The gloves themselves are perfect. Good leather, stitched perfectly and Thinsulate lined. All the bases. The one quibble I have, is that I foolishly followed the sizing guide on the web page. My hands are exactly 9 inches around, and I usually wear a size large glove. The guide said to order medium. Wrong. The gloves are skintight. Deerskin stretches, so they'll eventually fit fine, but the insulation will always be compressed, making the gloves less warm than they would be otherwise.

The gloves look and feel great, at a respectable price. I lost a pair of gloves just like the ones I bought and thought I would never find an acceptable replacement. These gloves do the job very well. It's too early to comment on durability but the signs are good.

Very good quality and comfort at a good price.

fit is good, leather is soft, nice appearance. Cannot yet comment on warmth.
