Excellent sensor, it is so efficient I actually ordered another one for a different room. Constant data feed for regular information. For the cost it’s insanely good. Already had the hub, so was able to set up the sensor in less than 2 minutes; very easy. Connects easily to the hub.

I bought this Tapo Smart Temperature & Humidity Monitor, Free Data Storage, Real-time Notifications, because I like to know how wet it is in my room. Dampness is my enemy, it must be dessicated. This device is amazing. It tells me the exact temperature and humidity level in my room, and sends me real-time notifications on my phone. It also stores the data for free, so I can track the changes over time. It is very easy to set up and use, and it looks sleek and modern. Thanks to this device, I can keep my room at the optimal dryness level. No more mold, mildew, or fungus. No more soggy clothes, books, or furniture. No more sneezing, coughing, or wheezing. My room is now a desert oasis, and I love it. This product is a lifesaver. It has improved my health, comfort, and happiness. I would give it 100 stars if I could. It is the best temperature and humidity monitor ever. If you hate dampness as much as I do, you need this product. Trust me, you won't regret it.

I use one of these as a remote temperature controller to control a KASA Smart radiator thermostat. The internal thermostat of the radiator valve senses the ambient temperature at the radiator and to get the room at the desired temperature requires a temperature correction adjustment. With one of these monitors added to the KASA hub it can be linked to a KASA radiator thermostat so the radiator valve is controlled by the temperature of the room remotely. The monitor can also be used with Alexa to control Smart plugs, etc. Unfortunately it does require the purchase of a TAPO hub to be able to do this or to view the monitor readings in the TAPO App. Suddenly with no warning it stopped working after 18 months. I tried to reinstall it to the hub and it wasn't recognised. The battery was reading 3 volts and it is advertised as lasting 2 years. So I thought it had become faulty. I installed a new battery and it started working again, so it was the battery. The unit is used in the High Sensitivity mode which it needs to control the radiator valves and was most probably why the battery only lasted 18 months. I didn't receive any notification about changing the battery and there is no indication of the battery state which is a shame or I would have known what the problem was.

Works well, links to my humidifier and electric rads to adjust to my settings.

i have purchased a number of these devices for various rooms around the house, they help me better understand the temperature and humidity of each room over the year so I can better setup ventilation and heating requirements. The App is super simple to use and can store data for a whole year. They seem to be well made and connectivity to the required hub (purchased separately) is solid anywhere from my garage up to my attic. The signal happily gets through a number of walls and floors. Battery life is great even when set to the high sensitivity mode. Over a year on a single CR2032.

Amazingly accurate and informative for such a small device, and can be used to control smart TRV's by sensing the temperature in the room (Where you need it) rather than near the TRV.

I have a few placed around the home and greenhouse, great quality and would buy again, just wished the graphs were a little bigger and clearer, or pinch to zoom was enabled.

Excellent. I've put this one in my log cabin. Grouped with other Tapo products, if the temp goes below a certain specified setting, the heater turns on. If the humidity goes below a certain specified setting, my de humidifier kicks in. It shows up to date readings that are logged. I feel it's an important addition to my smart house. I have several of these and think they're ace. Buy it and thank me later.

Apparently Tapo has decided that sensors sold in the EU or UK can't work with hubs for the US or AU, and vice versa. This is an EU-nation-coded sensor that was sold here on Amazon Canada, and won't work with the standard H100 US-nation-coded hub you can buy here on Amazon Canada (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0BYH9KZXS). Needless to say, it is a waste of money, and I have lost a great deal of respect for TP-Link because of this. What happened to you, TP-Link? You used to be pro-consumer! Now you're just another encrapified tech company ruining everything for everyone, just like all the rest.
